Frequently Asked Questions - Java PRINCESS

How do I descale the Princess Java coffee maker?
Mix a descaling solution with water according to the instructions, fill the water tank, and run a brewing cycle without coffee grounds. Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward.Descaling should be done every 2-3 months.
What type of coffee grounds can I use?
You can use pre-ground coffee for drip coffee makers. The built-in permanent mesh filter works best with medium grind coffee. Avoid using very fine grounds to prevent clogging.
How many cups does the Java coffee maker brew?
The water tank capacity is 1.2 liters, which brews up to 10 cups of coffee (based on a standard cup size of 120 ml).
Can I use paper filters with this machine?
Yes, the filter basket accepts standard #4 paper filters, but the machine also comes with a permanent mesh filter that you can reuse.
Does the coffee maker have an auto shut-off feature?
Yes, the Princess Java automatically turns off after the brewing cycle is complete and the keep-warm mode ends (approximately 2 hours after brewing).
How do I clean the glass carafe?
The carafe is dishwasher-safe. For hand washing, use warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners to prevent scratching the glass.
Why is my coffee maker dripping slowly?
Slow dripping may indicate a clogged filter or mineral buildup. Try cleaning the filter and running a descaling cycle to remove deposits.
Can I brew tea instead of coffee?
Yes, you can use the machine for hot water by running a cycle without coffee grounds. Use the hot water to steep tea bags in a cup.
What is the warranty period for the Princess Java?
The coffee maker comes with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Keep your receipt for proof of purchase.
Where can I buy spare parts like the carafe or filter?
