PRECAUTIONS

1. Do not install the camera near electric or magnetic fields.

Install the camera away from TV, radio transmitter, magnet, electric motor, transformer, audio speakers since the magnetic fields generate from above devices will distort the video images.

1. Never disassemble the camera nor put impurities in it.

Disassembly or impurities may result in trouble or fire.

1. Never face the camera toward the sun.

Direct sunlight or severe ray may cause fatal damage to sensor and internal circuit.

1. Keep the power cord away from water and fluid.

Touching the wet power cord may result in electric shock.

1. Do not operate the camera beyond the specified temperature, humidity or

power source ratings.

Use the camera at temperatures within -10^ 50^ ( 14^ to 122^ ) and humidity between 20% 80% . The input power source is 12VDC.

INSTALLATION

This section covers detailed steps of the simple installation. Please follow instructions for preventing any unnecessary damage

1. Secure camera mounting bracket to mounting surface.

a. If Application calls for wires to go through the ceiling or wall, drill a hole on the ceiling or wall.

b. Mark and drill 3 holes in mounting surface according to the dimensions portion in this manual.

c. Fix the bracket to the mounting service with included screws see figure 1-1

2. Fix camera to mounting Bracket.

a. Install camera on bracket by tuning the camera clockwise on to the 14 " screw on the bracket until camera is facing up.

b. Turn the bracket's securing ring to tighten the cameras position.

3. Connect Power and Video

a. Connect pigtail (male power adapter) to the camera female power connector. See Figure 3-1.

b. Connect power to pigtail wires (pigtail- male power adapter is purchased separately)

d. Connect video cable to a BNC female cable run. See figure A4-3.

Troubleshooting

No power

Check to be certain that you have sufficient current or amperage from the power supply.

Amount of current needed depends on voltage. See this manuals spec. sheet for information on power consumption.

Picture output is horizontal.

Depending on camera will be installed on wall or on ceiling, you may have to remove camera module and rotate it so can install for wall or ceiling. See Installation A step 2 for explanation and steps.
