Carminat TomTom makes navigation simple. It is Renault's latest GPS navigation system and is the fruit of an exclusive partnership between Renault and TomTom, to produce a fully integrated navigation unit at an affordable price. Ready to run in an instant and easy to use, it gives the Clio 2009 range an advanced, affordable navigation system which incorporates a 5.8-inch (14.7cm) colour screen - larger than that of removable systems - allowing the clear display of precise, detailed maps, including a 'birds-eye view' display. It gives accurate directions, including traffic information, speed restrictions and speed camera location alerts. It's very simple to update, too - meaning you always have the latest information.

IN A SAFE PLACE

Driving a small car doesn't mean that you have to compromise on safety. Its excellent handling, powerful braking and state-of-the-art technology helped make Clio the first vehicle in its category to obtain the maximum five Euro NCAP stars for adult protection. This focus on safety also helped make Clio "Car of the Year" on two separate occasions. The wide range of safety features, fitted as standard, is proof that Renault always goes the extra mile for your safety.

The large electric sunroof allows as much light as possible into the interior.

4. LIGHT AND RAIN SENSORS

The front windscreen wipers with automatic speed control are activated automatically when it rains, and adjust their wiping speed depending on the weather.

A light sensor automatically activates the headlights when it starts to get dark or when you enter a tunnel.

Incorporates a trip computer with tachometer, and displays a range of information about your journey.

A new range of MP3-compatible CD radios offer multiple connection solutions for your portable devices: analogue front panel, integrated Bluetooth® connectivity for telephone communications and wireless audio streaming.

2. PLUG & MUSIC

Connect your digital MP3 player using the USB ports and sockets, and control the system using the commands on the steering wheel.

With the Clio 2009, the Carminat TomTom® system is incorporated directly into the dashboard. All the functions are displayed on the colour screen for user-friendly navigation. The remote control is close to hand and simple to use, so you can access the functions without taking your eyes off the road.

5. CRUISE CONTROL AND SPEED LIMITER

Select a constant speed (control function) or set a maximum speed (speed limiter).

6. RETRACTABLE KEY

A practical key that is easy to store. Available from the Expression model upwards.

7. HANDS-FREE CARD

Just keep the card on you to lock and unlock the doors and start the ignition automatically.

The Renault SRP (System for Restraint and Protection) incorporates new generation headrests that offer maximum protection in the event of a rear impact.

7. EURO NCAP

Renault treats passenger protection as a priority. The Clio 2009 scores the maximum 5 stars in the adult occupant protection rating of Euro NCAP* crash tests.

SPORT BODY KIT

This stylish kit enhances the dynamic design of your Clio 2009. The front and side skirts, complete with rear diffuser, complement the mock twin exhaust. The rear spoiler pletes the Sport Body Kit and enhances its sporty looks even further.*

1. ALLOY WHEELS

Renault offers a wide range of alloy wheels for aesthetics and safety. Make your Clio your own with, for example, a set of Faraway' alloy wheels. Also available in aluminium grey and white versions.

2.CHROME TWIN EXHAUST

This exhaust completes the sporty look of your Clio.

3. FOG LIGHT BEZELS

These fittings allow the fog lights to fit snugly into the front bumper, and accentuate the dynamic, sporty feel of the front of your vehicle.

4. BLUETOOTH® HANDS-FREE KIT*

This Parrot-branded model comprises an LCD screen with two integrated microphones and a portable control. It displays the address book and the caller's ID.

5. MULTI-FUNCTIONAL TUNEPPOINT**

Ideal if your model does not come with a USB connection. The multi-functional TunePoint allows you to connect and control your portable music player using the radio commands on the steering wheel, whilst the jack allows you to connect to any audio source.

6. KENWOOD RADIO***

Renault offers a wide range of car radios offering you features such as full iPod control with data display, all whilst retaining the steering wheel control functions.

The tow bar-mounted cycle carrier provides easy access to the boot thanks to its folding function. The Touring Line roof box can be mounted onto existing aluminium roof bars.
