Frequently Asked Questions - SC07F50HV SAMSUNG

How do I replace the batteries in the remote handle?
Use 2 AAA size batteries. Open the battery compartment, observe polarity (+/-), and insert. Never recharge or dispose of in fire. If remote still fails, use the body ON/OFF button.
How often should I clean the dust filter?
Clean the dust filter when the filter check indicator turns red or suction noticeably decreases. Wash with cold water and let dry in shade for at least 12 hours before reinserting.
What should I do if the suction power becomes weak?
Check for blockages in the hose, pipe, or nozzle. Clean the dust bin and filters. If the outlet filter is clogged, replace it. Also ensure the dust bin is not full.
Can I use the UV brush on all fabrics?
The UV brush is designed for mattresses, bedclothes, cushions, and similar materials. Do not use on people, pets, or for purposes other than sterilization. Avoid direct exposure to UV rays.
How do I empty the dust bin?
Press the button to release the dust bin. Twist the cover counterclockwise to open. Empty into a plastic bag (recommended for allergy sufferers). Close the cover and reattach until it clicks.
What should I do if the power cord does not rewind fully?
Pull the cord out 2-3 meters and press the cord rewind button. If still not reeling, check for kinks or obstructions. Do not force it.
How do I clean the dust sensor?
Use a dry cloth to gently clean the two sensors in the dust sensor block. Be careful not to damage them. If the sensor still doesn't work, replace the AAA batteries.
Is this vacuum safe for pet hair?
Yes, but hair may tangle around the brush-roller. Regularly clean the brush-roller using the provided crevice tool or scissors. For models with Mini turbo brush, follow the belt replacement instructions if needed.
Can I wash the outlet filter?
No, the outlet filter is non-washable. Tap it gently against a hard surface to remove dust. If suction remains low, replace it with a new filter from Samsung.
How do I replace the belt on the Mini turbo brush?
Remove the bottom plate. Loop the new belt around the pulley shaft, then around the brush-roller. Insert the brush-roller into the slots and reassemble. Ensure the belt is not cracked or broken.
