How do I install the STUTPWALLA VGA extender?

Turn off your PC and monitor. Connect the transmitter unit (STUTPTXWLA) to your PC's VGA output using a male-to-male VGA cable. Connect the receiver unit (STUTPRXWLA) to the monitor's VGA input. Link the two units with a CAT5 (or better) cable. Finally, connect the power adapters to both units and turn on the equipment.

What is the maximum resolution supported?

The maximum resolution is 1920x1200 at 60 Hz when using CAT5/CAT5e cable up to 50 meters. For longer distances, resolution must be reduced.

What is the maximum transmission distance?

The maximum distance is 300 meters at a resolution of 800x600 using CAT5/CAT5e. With CAT6 cable, distances vary: up to 30 m at 1920x1440 or up to 100 m at 800x600.

Does the extender support audio?

Yes, both stereo audio and microphone signals are supported. The transmitter has a 3.5mm audio input and a 3.5mm microphone input, while the receiver provides a 3.5mm audio output.

What type of cable is required?

Standard CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 UTP cable with RJ45 connectors is required. The wiring follows T568A/B standards; see manual for pinout.

How do I adjust the brightness or sharpness?

Use the GAIN knob on both units to adjust brightness. The receiver also has an EQ control to adjust sharpness based on cable length.

What do the H-INV and V-INV switches do?

These switches invert the horizontal (H) or vertical (V) sync signals to correct noise or sync issues. Set both transmitter and receiver to the same position (default OFF).

Is the unit wall-mountable?

Yes, the units are designed as wall plates for installation into a standard wall receptacle. They have a compact metal housing for flush mounting.

What power adapter is used?

Each unit requires a 12VDC, 600mA power adapter (included). The adapter connects via a terminal block. Note polarity: center pin is +12V.

Connect STUTPRXWLA Receiver unit DE-15 VGA female connector 4. with a DE-15 VGA male to male cable to the monitor/display.

Connect the power adapter on each unit.5.
