CAUTION!
There is a risk of scalding due to the hot surfaces and the steam rising from the kettle.
- When the water boils, hot steam will rise from the kettle. Do not reach into or over the steam.

- Do not operate the appliance without the filter inserted 7 as this could damage the appliance!
To boil water, proceed as follows:
- Open the lid 1 by pressing on the lid opener 2.
-
Add the desired volume of water to the kettle. Add at least enough water to reach the "MIN" mark on the gauge. Do not exceed the maximum filling level marked with "MAX" 4 on the gauge.
-
Place the kettle body onto the base plate 6 so that it clicks firmly into place.
-
Close the lid 1 again.
-

- To do this, reach into the spout from the outside and press the locking mechanism and then carefully push the filter into the kettle to remove it.
- When inserting the filter again, ensure that the lower retaining lug is sitting on the guide rail.
Descaling
In order to prolong the appliance's service life and to keep boiling times short, the caravan kettle must be regularly descaled. We recommend an environmentally friendly descaling process using vinegar or citric acid:
- Add a dose of vinegar (ratio of 1:3) or citric acid (2 heaped tablespoons to 1 litre of water) to the water.
- Allow the liquid to stand in the appliance for approx. 1 hour.
- Now boil the liquid in the kettle.
- Then rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water.
- If you want to use a commercial descaler (chemical product), observe the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the product.
Disposal
Disposal of packaging

Sort packaging before disposal. Dispose of card and cardboard with waste paper and dispose of film with recyclable materials.
Disposal of old appliances
(Applicable in the European Union and other European states with systems for separate collection of recyclable materials)

Do not dispose of old appliances in normal household waste!
If the kettle can no longer be used, the consumer is obliged by law to dispose of the old appliance separately from household waste, e.g. at a local authority/district collection point. This guarantees that old appliances are recycled correctly and avoids negative effects on the environment. For this reason, electrical appliances are marked with the above symbol.
