Why does my oven not turn on?

First, ensure the plug is connected to a grounded socket and the main switch is on. If the oven still does not work, check whether the thermal cut-off has tripped. Let the oven cool down and reset it. Also verify that the timer is set; the oven will not operate if the timer is at 0.

How do I set the timer?

Turn the timer knob clockwise to set cooking time between 0 and 120 minutes. The timer indicator light and interior lamp will turn on. At the end of the set time, the oven switches off automatically and a bell rings for 1-5 seconds. To stop manually, turn the timer counterclockwise to the '0' position.

What is the correct temperature setting?

Use the temperature controller to set a constant temperature between 50°C and 250°C. The temperature indicator light is on when the oven is heating and turns off when the desired temperature is reached.

How should I clean the oven?

After use, unplug the oven and let it cool completely. Remove shelves and trays, clean them with a non-aggressive cleaner. Wipe the oven interior with a dry cloth first, then a damp soft cloth. What are the clearance requirements for installation?

Place the oven on a stable, level surface with at least 10 cm of free space on both sides and 20 cm at the back. Do not place it on carpet, tea towels, or other heat-sensitive surfaces.

Why does the timer light not turn on?

If the timer light does not illuminate, check that the timer is set to a time above 0. Also ensure the oven is properly plugged in and the main power is on. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.

Can I use an extension cord?

Damage caused by not following the instructions of this manual will always invalidates the warranty. TYPE PLATE

The type plate (the picture is an example) is located on the device.

You are requested not to remove it.

The type plate can for example be used to determine, when the item was purchased (view PO) and from which production line (view SN) it originates. This information may be essential with regard to warranty.

It also contains important information such as the voltage and power

supply which determines the ability to connect the device safe.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE:

As long as the products are packed, please make sure you never place them upside down.

This could damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully.

Make sure you prevent any drastic vibration during transport. You should never place or store this product outside or in open air for a longer period of time than a few hours

(not even packed). It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive

gasses. When, in case of an emergency, you need to store them temporarily outside, you should take measures to protect them from rain or moisture.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT:

1. Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device.
2. This product should be placed in a balanced and well ventilated spot and its left and right sides should be free from obstacles for more than 10cm. It's back-side should be free from the obstacles (like a wall etc.) for more than 20cm.
3. During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at any time needed.
4. Do not place the appliance on a carpet, a tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another surface that cannot withstand high temperatures. This could cause fire hazard.

5. Do never cover the appliance with foil; this could cause overheating and therefore danger.

6. Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are connected. Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands.

7. When disconnecting the device from the power, never pull from the cord, only the plug.

8. The power pressure of this equipment should conform to the supply voltage of this product.

9. The user should install the suitable power switch, fuse and leakage-protector near to the equipment.
10. Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.
11. Before starting up, you should check whether the socket you want to use is grounded.

12. Ensure whether all the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not, and whether the safety grounding is reliable or not.

13. When you change the power cable, you should select the same model cable and: it is only allowed to let a professional electrician do this.

14. Never use other parts than the ones which are from CaterChef. CaterChef is not taking any responsibility for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts.
15. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the appliance, do not do this by yourself. This is forbidden. This must always be done by a professional electrician.
16. If there are any abnormal phenomenons during usage, you must stop the appliance directly. After checking you can continue to use it as long as it is safe. Do not repair the appliance by yourself. This should always been done by a technical professional.
17. During operation or cooling down: always keep the appliance out of reach of children. This, mainly to prevent burning injuries.

DEGREASE:

Before operating for the first time, clean the device with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do not rinse the appliance under the tap, this could cause serious damage to the appliance. In addition, make sure that you have dried it properly before you start operating the device.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

- Always assemble the rubber feet under the appliance, do not use the appliance without feet. Screw the rubber feet by tightening them clockwise (figure 1).

- Before usage, it is important to completely remove the protective film (figure 2).

REGULAR USE:

1. The control panel

2. Turn on the convection oven

• Set the timer knob to the cooking time according to the time you are going to cook.
• The thermostat can be used to automatically set a constant temperature between 50°C and 250°C.
• Set the timer by turning it clockwise. Set the temperature control to the desired temperature. The temperature light, (timer indicator light), and the inside lamp are on. The temperature light will be off when the temperature rises to the desired temperature.
• Attention! The oven will not work if the timer is not set.

3. How to use the timer.

• The timer can be set between 0\~120 minutes
- Set the timer by turning it clockwise.

The timer light and the inside lamp are on.

• The oven will turn off automatically at the end of the selected time and a bell will ring for 1-5 seconds.
  • The desired time depends on the food to be prepared.
• The oven can be turned off manually by turning the timer counterclockwise to the "0" position. Only then unplug the power cord. Do this at all times in the order described. This prevents a short circuit or other possible danger.
• When disconnecting the device, never pull on the cord, only on the plug.
  • To avoid any risk of fire, never leave the plug in the socket after use.
• When moving the appliance, do this by lifting the appliance from the bottom.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the socket. Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
Step 2: Do not clean the convection oven until it has cooled down. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents when cleaning. The convection oven must not be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner or with a water hose. First use a dry cloth to remove most of the dirt from the oven cavity and then a damp soft cloth to clean the rest. Do not use a water hose to clean the oven interior. Remove the shelves and/or baking trays and clean them well with a non-aggressive cleaning agent. When the racks and/or baking trays are clean and dry again, they can be placed back in the oven.

- Pay attention! Do not rinse the device with water (don't wash it by using the tap).

This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations;

• Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages to the device;
• Use a vacuum cleaner to (gently) remove dirt and debris from the air-ventilation-grille;
  • Always store the appliance inside and keep it dry;
• Before maintaining the appliance, always make sure you have removed the plug from the socket.

4. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Solution
When the ovens intrior lighting no longer works, and it needs to be replaced.	Remove the plug from the socket and let the oven cool down.Remove the grids and side grilles.Remove the bulb and insert a new one.
Main switch is on, but the oven does not work.	Check whether the maximum security has trippedAllow the oven to cool down and turn it back on.
