3 Overview

The Kramer TOOLS VP-200N5 is a 1:2 distribution amplifier for UXGA resolution signals. It accepts one input, provides correct buffering and isolation, and then distributes the signal to two identical outputs on high-density 15-pin HD connectors. The VP-200N5 features:

- High video bandwidth of 370MHz, ensuring that it remains transparent even at high-resolution graphics modes such as UXGA (1600x1200)

- 5V DC power

- Kr-isp ^® Advanced Sync Processing that ensures compatibility with a wide range of computers (even if the sync level is too low) by restoring the sync signal waveform

- EDID PassThru that passes EDID signals from source to display, that is, from input to output 1 only

Achieving the best performance means:

  • Connecting only good quality connection cables, thus avoiding interference, deterioration in signal quality due to poor matching, and elevated noise levels (often associated with low quality cables)
  • Avoiding interference from neighboring electrical appliances and positioning your VP-200N5 away from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust
