How to use the SINGER SCJ2316ST juicer?

Read operating instructions carefully before the operation. This manual should be stored properly for future reference. When turning on the machine, make sure that the following requirements on the safety and related maintenance shall be complied:

This product is intended for household use only. It shall only be used as described in this manual. It is intended for fruits as such as orange, citrus, lemon.

Descitpion

Main basic components are shown in the following illustration :

Operation :

1) Assemble the appliance as illustrated on the above illustration.
2) Draw the cord from the reel; insert the plug into a standard socket that will correspond with the voltage of the appliance;
3) Roughly align the juice cup to juice outlet to prevent the juice from spilling;
4) Cut the fruit into two halves;
5) Press the juice outlet by the finger so that the outlet will open, as shown in illustration 2;
6) Juice processing: remove the transparent cover; align the cutting surface of orange to the outlet; and press it; now the head will rotate, as shown in illustration 3;
7) Important: you will hear a sound from shift gears when juice process has finished; the head will stop working. This is a normal phenomenon;
8) Throwing for dry: now put the cover evenly pressing the circumference of cover with both hands, you can see that the sieve is rotating in high speed so that the juice will be thrown out, shown as illustration 4;
9) Caution: it is necessary that you must place the cover before the throwing operation is performed; otherwise the juice will spill out and cause unnecessary problems;
10) When the operation is finished, press and hold the cover with one hand while raise the outlet to close position with another hand, as shown in illustration 5;

Cleaning:

1) Unplug the appliance
2) Remove the cover and then directly remove the sieve from the machine;
3) Clean the sieve under the tap; as shown in illustration 6;
4) Clean the dish, and juice outlet as shown in illustration 7;
5) Clean the main body (motor) with a dry cotton cloth.
6) Important: Do not immerse the main body of the appliance in water or do not wash under tap.. You can clean it with dry cotton cloth if there is a few juice or water on the body.

Troubleshooting :

When any problem occurs in this appliance, check first the following procedures. If the problem still appears, contact with your nearest service center or directly contact with customer service center.
