1. Safety of use
Read the instructions given here carefully. Failure to follow these instructions may be dangerous or illegal.

Do not switch on the appliance in areas where the use of electrical and electronic equipment is prohibited, or where it may cause interference or other hazards. Comply with any prohibitions, regulations and warnings given by the personnel of the place where you want to use the device. Do not use the appliance near flammable materials.
Keep the appliance, its accessories and packaging out of the reach of children. Small parts can be swallowed, which could result in strangulation or choking.

The product is intended for children aged three and over. The appliance may be operated and cleaned by children and persons with limited mental or physical aptitude only when they are under the supervision of their guardian or after they have been given instructions on how to use the appliance in a safe manner, understanding the dangers of using the appliance.

The appliance should not be operated in a very dusty environment - this can cause particles to be deposited on components, which can damage the product. Do not immerse the unit in water and avoid operating the unit in a high humidity environment and do not expose the unit directly to water or other liquids as this may damage the product. Avoid using the appliance in direct sunlight and near heat sources (radiators, cookers, fan heaters, etc.) as these may damage the casing components and electronics. Components made of plastic may deform, which may affect the operation of the appliance or lead to complete damage.

This product may only be repaired by qualified manufacturer's service or an authorised service centre. Repair of the appliance by unqualified service personnel or by an unauthorised service centre, as well as making modifications yourself, may damage the appliance and void the warranty.

- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not short-circuit the power terminals on the batteries.
- Use batteries of the same type recommended for this device.
- When installing new batteries, remember their +/- polarity.
- Remove depleted batteries from the device immediately as they may leak and cause damage.
- Always remove the batteries when not using the device - this will prevent damage to the product if electrolyte leaks from the batteries.
• Always replace a complete set of batteries with a working one.
- Keep batteries away from children and pets.
- Do not dispose of used batteries in the garbage, but in special containers for used batteries and rechargeable batteries.
- Never use used batteries in combination with new batteries.
- Avoid exposing batteries to very low or very high temperatures (below 0^ C / 32^ F or above 40^ C / 104^ F). Extreme temperatures may affect their service life.
- Avoid contact of the batteries with liquids and metal objects, these may lead to complete or partial damage.
- Place used or damaged batteries in a special container.
- Never expose batteries to direct heat sources such as excessive sunlight, a radiator or fire.
- Never throw batteries into fire - they may explode.
- Never immerse batteries in water. Do not touch them with wet hands.
- If your hands come into contact with battery acid, rinse your hands under running water.
- If electrolyte gets into your eyes, contact a doctor. The acid in batteries can cause irritation or burns.
- Swallowing batteries can be fatal! Keep batteries away from children and pets. Seek medical attention immediately if a battery is swallowed.

3. Use of the device
Preparation
Before first use, remove the instruction tag. If you intend to use the stand, place it on an even, flat and stable surface. Then place the product in the hole in the stand.

The fan is switched on/off with the power button.
Exchange the batteries
To replace the batteries, switch off the unit if it is switched on. Loosen the screw securing the battery compartment cap (screwdriver not included), turn the cap slightly to the left and remove it.
Remove the set of used batteries and replace them with a new set of two AAA 1.5V = batteries according to the polarity marking on the unit. Put the battery compartment nut back in place and turn it to the right. Tighten the screw securing the nut.
4. Troubleshooting
If you have any problems with your device, it is worth reading the following advice.

5. Cleaning and maintenance
To prolong the life of the appliance:
- Regular and properly performed cleaning and maintenance will ensure a long product life and trouble-free operation.
- Cleaning must only be carried out when the appliance is switched off.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water.
- Parts of the appliance are best cleaned with a dry cloth, brush or paper towel.
- Do not use any sharp tools or aggressive cleaning agents, including concentrated dishwashing liquids, lotions and scouring pastes to clean tough dirt.
