Before starting up, please read this manual carefully in order to ensure the correct and safe installation and usage. Damage caused by not following the instructions of this manual will always invalidates the warranty. CaterChef would like to emphasize that this instruction manual needs to be readed carefully before usage and should be stored for later use.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE:

As long as the mixers are packed, please make sure you never place them upside down. This could damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully. Make sure you prevent any drastic vibration during transport. You should never place or store this product outside or in open air for a longer period of time than a few hours (not even packed). It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive
gasses. When, in case of an emergency, you need to store them temporarily outside, you should take measures to protect them from rain or moisture.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT:
- Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device. Please also remove the foil from the control panel to make it more user-friendly.
- This product should be placed in a balanced and well ventilated spot and its left and right sides should be free from obstacles for more than 10cm. It's back-side should be free from the obstacles (like a brick wall etc) for more than 20cm.
- The supply voltage of the device (230 Volt/50 Hz/1 Ph) must be compressed with the voltage of the mains.
- The user should install the suitable power switch, fuse and leakage-protector near to the equipment.

During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at any time needed.

Do not place the appliance on a carpet, a tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another surface that cannot withstand high temperatures. This could cause fire hazard.
- Avoid blockings of the ventilation grille (you can find it on the backside of the appliance).
- The user must install a suitable power switch, fuse, and earth leakage breaker near the device. Make sure that the switch is always easily accessible, so that it is easy to operate in the event of danger and immediate action can be taken.
- Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.
Before starting up, you should check whether the socket you want to use is grounded. - Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands. This is very dangerous.
- Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are connected.
- If the plug does not connect properly to the socket, it may not be connected for safety reasons.
- Before usage you should check whether all components are available and whether the appliance is not damaged.
- Make sure whether the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not.
- When you change the power cable, you should select the same model.
- If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the appliance, do not do this by yourself. This is forbidden. This must always be done by a professional electrician.
- If there are any abnormal phenomenon's during usage, you must turn off the appliance immediately. Please contact your local dealer in case of doubt about the product it's safety. Do not repair the appliance by yourself. This should always be done by a technical professional.
- During operation or cooling down: always keep the appliance out of reach of children. This, mainly to prevent danger and injuries.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Degrease:

Before operating for the first time, clean the device (and the parts (such as the bowl and mixing tools)) with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do not rinse the appliance under the tap, this could cause serious damage to the appliance. In addition, make sure that you have dried it properly before you start operating the device.

Replace the parts.
REGULAR USE:
- Never put non-food related products such as plastic or paper inside the bowl.
- Never use other parts than the ones which are from CaterChef.
CaterChef is not taking any responsibility for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts. - Do never cover the appliance with foil; this could cause overheating and therefore danger.
- The timer is only to set the cooking time, not to control the speed.
- Never leave the surroundings of the appliance during operation.
- Never move the appliance during operation.
- Never touch the appliance, besides the control panel, during operation.
- When disconnecting the device from the power, never pull from the cord, only the plug.
- After usage, press ON/OFF, to turn it OFF.
- After usage the electricity needs to be cut from the socket to prevent fire hazard. Make sure the switch is turned OFF before you cut the electricity from the socket, this is to prevent short circuit or danger.
- When you move the appliance from its place, always grab it at the bottom.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
How to place the mixing bowl
The mixing bowl must first be installed (before the agitator). To install the mixing bowl, the bowl holder must be in the lowest position. Use the lift-handle to put the holder in this position.
place the pin of the bowl in the holder of the machine and make sure that the bowl holders are placed on the pins of the machine (these are located on the sides of the bowl holder).
How to place the mixing tools
To install an agitator, the bowl must be in the lowest position.
Place the agitator in the bowl, press it onto the shaft and turn it 1/4th clockwise into the shaft so that the pin fits into the shaft slot. Now the agitator is properly installed and cannot fall off the pin. Always check this carefully before proceeding.

OPERATION AND USE
- The mixing kneader has 3 speeds between 100 and 500 rounds per minute.
- The timer can be set up to 60 minutes.
- Press ON/OFF to switch the machine on and off. This function only works if the bowl is properly attached, the lift is raised and the bowl guard is closed.
- If the bowl is lowered or the protective cover is moved, the device will automatically switch off (OFF) via a microswitch. This microswitch will protect you against injuries.
- During use, you can add ingredients through the pouring spout found on the right side of the bowl's protective cap.
- Set the speed using the left rotary control and set it to position 1, 2 or 3. You can set the timer using the digital control panel. Press the up or down arrows to confirm the desired time. You do not need to press ON and/or OFF for this.
- You can also adjust the speed and timer during use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the socket. Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
Step 2: Remove the parts (such as the bowl and mixing tools).
Step 3: Clean the parts and the device with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of cleaning-detergent and then dry it thoroughly. Do not use benzine, thinner, scouring brush or polishing powder to clean the device.
- Pay attention! Do not rinse the device with water (don't wash it by using the tap).
This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations.
- Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages to the device.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to (gently) remove dirt and debris from the air-ventilation-grille.
• Always store the mixer inside and keep it dry. - The transmission case and planetary gears are filled with special grease that will last for several years. Replacement of the grease must always be done by an authorized (certified) service technician.
- Before maintaining the mixer, always make sure you have removed the plug from the socket.
If the mixer does not work or is damaged, check the following:
- Whether the plug is in the socket;
- Whether the plug and / or the cord is damaged;
- Whether the microswitch works.
If it is nr. 2, 3 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.
