DUO FLEX 770 Read the safety instructions first.

Used in the shower or in the bath, Duo Flex 770 gives even the most sensitive skin an impeccable and comfortable epilation. The dual head hugs every curve of your body to gently remove all hair, even in the hard-to-reach areas.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE NI-MH BATTERIES OF THIS UNIT

To obtain and maintain the longest battery autonomy possible, allow it to charge for 16 hours before using it for the first time and then approximately every three months. Full autonomy of the unit will only be obtained after three complete recharge cycles.

CHARGING DUO FLEX 770

• Plug the cord into the unit and connect the adapter. Before using Duo Flex 770 for the first time, allow it to charge for 16 hours. Make sure the depilator's switch is in the OFF position.
• Check that the charging indicator light is lit.
• A full charge provides a minimum of 40 minutes' use of Duo Flex 770.
• Subsequent charges should be 120 minutes thanks to the quick charge system.

Never charge the unit for periods longer than 24 consecutive hours and only use the charger provided.

USE

• WARNING: Unplug the appliance before using or cleaning it in water.
  The adaptor must be placed so it cannot fall into water.

TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL HAIR REMOVAL

Scrubbing

Scrubbing is a necessary step for successful hair removal. Done regularly, it:

• prevents hair from growing back under the skin,
• removes dead cells and refines the texture of your skin,
• prepares your skin to help it absorb skin care products.

Scrubbing done once or twice a week maintains a healthy and fresh skin. We recommend scrubbing ideally the day before hair removal. The scrubbing will straighten the hair thereby helping you to remove it. Avoid scrubbing just after hair removal.

Epilation

• In the bath: for maximum comfort, start your epilation a few minutes after relaxing in the warm bath water. The heat will cause your skin's pores to dilate making hair removal easier.
• In the shower: for good depilation in the shower, make sure your skin is thoroughly wet.
• On dry skin: you can also use the appliance out of the bath or shower, but be careful to remove all traces of oil or moisturiser from your skin.

Epilation of your legs

• Turn the appliance on by pressing the button once for speed I or twice for speed II (13).
• Hold the appliance at an angle of 90 degrees to the surface of where hair is to be removed (14).
• Always work with both hands: carefully stretch the skin with one hand while moving the appliance with the other. Only move your epilator against the direction of the growth of your hair. Do not use circular or back and forth movements (15-16).
• Slowly move the epilator, while pressing down lightly. Careful not to press the appliance down too hard against your skin; it might slow down and be less effective.

Epilation of sensitive areas

Attach the 14 tweezer epilation head to the epilator. Use the appliance preferably set at speed I. If your hair is long (longer than 1cm ), we recommend cutting it with scissors before using the epilator, preferably set at speed I.

• To remove hair from your underarms, move the appliance using an upwards motion, then a second time using a downwards motion. (17).
• To remove hair from your bikini line, carefully stretch your skin and move the appliance against the direction of the growth of your hair (18).

Epilation of the face

Attach the 6 tweezer epilation head to the epilator. Use the appliance preferably set at speed I. To remove hair from the upper lip, gently pull your skin with one hand while holding the unit in the other (19). Do not use the unit on the eyebrows.

Shaving

Attach the shaving head to the BaBylliss Duo Flex 770. Switch the unit on. Hold the Duo Flex 770 at a right angle to the area to be shaved. Always work with both hands: gently pull your skin with one hand while holding the unit in the other (20).

Bikini area trimming

The Duo Flex 770 has a 2 cutting guides to style the bikini area by making the desired adjustment to the hair length. Attach the cutting guide on the shaving head (21). Turn the unit on. Hold the

unit at a slight angle to the skin and move slowly against the direction of growth (22).

IMPORTANT

• Only use BaByliss Duo Flex 770 for hair removal and following the instructions in this manual.
• Do not remove hair from areas with open wounds, cuts, burns, warts, moles, sunburnt skin or varicose veins. Do not use if you are suffering from a skin irritation, skin infections like psoriasis or eczema on the legs.
• Do not use for removing hair from your head, chest, eyebrows, eyelashes or genitals. Only use the Duo Flex 770 to remove hair from your legs, bikini line, arms, underarms, upper lip, chin and cheeks.

MAINTENANCE

• Turn off and unplug the appliance.
• Carefully remove the protective cover from the epilation head and run the little brush between the disks after each use (23-24).
• We recommend you regularly disinfect the head and accessories with alcohol.
• For maximum hygiene, the different heads of the appliance can be removed and easily rinsed under running water. To remove a head, press the button on the back of the appliance (25-26).
• If the body of the appliance needs to be cleaned, use a cloth moistened with soft detergent.
• Make sure all parts are completely dry before putting them back together and plugging the appliance (27).
