What do the Defrost and Reheat buttons do?

Defrost: toasts frozen bread directly. Reheat: warms already toasted bread without additional browning.

Why does my toast come out uneven?

Ensure bread slices are of similar thickness and centered in the slots. Self-centering guides help, but uneven slices may cause uneven toasting.
