1 Important in environment
This section contains safety instructions that will help protect from risk of personal injury or property damage.

1.1 General safety
- This appliance complies with the international safety standards.
- This appliance can be used by people who have limited physical, sensory or mental capacity or who do not have knowledge and experience, provided that they are supervised or they understand the instructions with regard to safe use of the product and potential dangers.
- This appliance cannot be used by children.
- Keep the appliance and the power cable out of the reach of children.
- Do not use it if the power cable or the appliance itself is damaged. Contact an authorised service.

1 Important instructions for safety and environment

- Follow all warnings to prevent injuries due to incorrect use.

The values which are declared in the markings affixed on your appliance or the other printed documents supplied with it represent the values which were obtained in the laboratories pursuant to the pertinent standards. These values may vary according to the usage of the appliance and ambient conditions.
3 Operation
3.1 Preparation
- Remove all packaging and sticker materials and dispose of them according to the applicable legal regulations.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, clean parts which come into contact with food (see the "Cleaning and care" section).
3.2 Operation
- Make sure that the power cord has been disconnected from the wall socket and the speed control (2) and accessory release switch (1) is set to speed 0 prior to attaching the beater or dough hooks to the mixer.
- Insert the beaters (6) or kneading hooks (7) into the accessory slots for beaters and dough hooks (5) on the mixer until they lock into place.

Insert dough hook (7) in the larger of the two accessory slots (5).

The beaters (6) can be inserted in either of the two accessory slots (5).

Insert the plug into the wall socket.
-
Dip the beaters (6) or kneading hooks (7) into the food mixture before switching the hand mixer on.
-
Set the speed control (2) to the desired speed (1 to 4 speed settings).
- The appliance begins to operate.

Select a suitable speed level, depending on the type of food. While mixing, you can press the Turbo button (3) to briefly raise the speed level to the maximum speed. The speed of the Turbo button (3) corresponds to the level 4 of the speed control (2).

WARNING: Here, the standard load means the added flour should be less than 900g in every time blend and the added water ratio should be around 72g of water for each 100g of flour.
- After you finish operation, set the speed control (2) to speed 0. Disconnect the plug from the wall socket. Wait for the appliance to come to a complete standstill and then pull out the beaters/kneading hook from the food mixture.
- Hold the beaters (6) or kneading hooks (7) with one hand and push the accessory release switch (1).
- The beaters (6) or kneading hooks (7) will be released.

WARNING: Never press the accessory release switch (1) unless the speed control is on position 0 and the appliance is disconnected from the wall socket.
3 Operation
3.2.1 Hints and tips
- To avoid mixing egg shells in with the food already in the container, put them into a separate container first. Then add them to the mixture.
- Remember that climatic conditions, seasonal temperature differences, temperature and consistency of the ingredients could affect the preparation time necessary as well as the results.
- Always start blending on a low speed. Increase the speed gradually until you have reached the recommended speed for the food you are mixing.

4 Information
4.1 Cleaning and care

WARNING: Never use petrol solvents, abrasive cleaners, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
- Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the wall socket.
- Let the appliance cool down completely.
- Use a damp soft cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.

WARNING: Never put the appliance or power cord in water or any other liquids and never hold them under running water.
- Clean the beaters (6) or kneading hooks (7) with warm, soapy water. Then rinse the beaters or kneading hooks with clear water and dry them off thoroughly. The beaters or kneading hooks can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully using a soft towel.
4.2 Storage
- If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged and completely dry.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry place. - Make sure the appliance is kept out of the reach of children.
4.3 Handling and transportation
- During handling and transportation, carry the appliance in its original packaging. The packaging of the appliance protects it against physical damages.
- Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or the packaging. The appliance may be damaged.
- Dropping the appliance will render it non-operational or cause permanent damage.
