What vehicles is the C-DMM-130 compatible with?

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

C-DMM-130 Swing out Dash Monitor Mount

2015-2017 Chevy Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) and 2015-2017 Chevy Tahoe Special Service Vehicle (SSV)

**Does NOT work in Standard Retail Tahoe or Suburban because of OEM display options**

The Dash Monitor Mount bracket system requires two or three main parts that are Sold Separately. See web site Monitor Configurator for more detailed bracket information.

• 1 - Vehicle Specific dash mount bracket. (C-DMM-130)

• 1 - Offset adaptor bracket. (C-MM-301)

The C-MM-301 offset adaptor goes between the C-DMM-130 and C-MM-2XX. It may not be required in some applications.

Note: If installing the C-DMM-130 with a C-VS-1013-TAH-1 console, the DMM lower bracket assembly will not be used. Accessory pocket modification and lower bracket mounting as shown in these instructions will Not be required. The C-DMM-130 frame will bolt to the top of the C-1013-TAH-1 console.

OEM Dash Prior to installation

Remove top cover by gently prying up

Pull back the lower dash panel to gain access and remove side trim screw (7mm socket)

Remove rubber cover to gain access and remove two (2) lower dash panel screws. (7mm socket)

Pull lower dash panel towards you to remove.

Remove side dash panel.

Insert a flat blade panel removal tool and remove the panel above the glove box.

Carefully remove (unsnap) center section around touch screen and climate controls

Remove two (2) screws from the vent housing and remove the housing. Repeat for passenger side. (7mm socket)

Four (4) screws hold in the center display and control center. Carefully unplug the display and remove. (7mm socket)

With the center display and control center removed look for two (2) 7mm head screws and remove them.

Attach the Upper Support Bracket (CM006719) with the previously removed 7mm OEM screws.
Torque to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in)

Attach Lower Support Bracket (CM006725) to existing OEM threaded holes using two (2) M6 x1.0 x 20mm bolts.

Attach bracket lower holes with 1/4" x 5/8" Truss head bolts and serrated nuts. Nut goes inside dash.

Install Tip for previous step:
Taping a 1/4" serrated nut to your finger works well for starting the lower bolts.

The lower dash accessory pocket must be modified to accommodate the lower bracket. Mark and cut as shown. (Air saw works well)

Once you've made your cut, clean and deburr the edges for a finished look.

Re-install the touchscreen, climate control, side dash trim, lower dash and vent assemblies. Keep the OEM 7mm head screw for the passenger vent assembly out for a later bracket.
Torque 7mm head bolts to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in)

HAVIS

After re-installing the lower dash panel, install the Lower Bracket Extension (CM006724) using two (2) 10/32 x 1/2 bolts and #10 washers.

Install the side support bracket with the OEM 7mm head screw and then attach to the DMM frame using 8/32 x 1/2 bolts and 8/32 keps nuts.

Run monitor wire harness on exterior of dash as desired.

Attach DMM main frame assembly to upper and lower brackets using four (4) 10/32 x 1/2 bolts and #10 washers.

Reinstall the passenger side dash panel after all hardware has been checked and tightened.

C-DMM-130 shown with C-VS-1500-TAH-1 console.
