How do I pair the telephone adapter with my Tek?

Press the button on your Tek for about 7 seconds. Press the Pairing button (2) on the adapter for 2 seconds. The LED indicator flashes once per second. The adapter connects automatically. The process may take up to 2 minutes. Once connected, the indicator flashes twice per second.

What do the different flashes of the LED indicator mean?

The LED indicator shows the adapter status: 1 flash every 3 seconds = idle mode; 1 flash per second = pairing mode; 2 flashes per second = connected; 5 flashes per second = incoming call; steady light = call in progress.

How do I make a call with the adapter?

Dial the number on your telephone. Press the Enter button (3) on the adapter to transfer the call to your Tek, then hang up the handset. Use your Tek to answer, end, and reject the call.

Can I use the adapter without mains power?

No, the adapter requires power via the mini-USB connector. Use only the supplied mains adapter.

How do I reset the adapter?

Use the Reset button (5) on the adapter. Press briefly with a thin object to restore factory settings.

Is the adapter compatible with all telephones?

The adapter is compatible with most analog landline phones equipped with an RJ11 socket. It connects between the wall socket and your telephone.

How to adjust the ringer?

Use the ringer on/off switch (4) on the adapter to turn the ringer on or off.

What to do if the LED indicator does not light up?

Check that the mains adapter is properly connected and that the wall socket works. Try another mini-USB cable if necessary.

Can I connect multiple telephones or Tek?

The adapter is designed for a single connection with one telephone and one Tek. It does not support multiple devices simultaneously.

Setting up the phone adapter with your telephone

Connect the telephone's wall jack with the phone adapter's Line jack ⑦.
Connect the phone adapter's Telephone jack ⑧ with the telephone. Use the delivered Connector cable ⑨ .
Connect the phone adapter with the Power plug ⑩ to a power supply.

Pairing the phone adapter with your Tek

Press and hold on your Tek for about 7 seconds.
Press and hold the Pair button ② on the phone adapter for 2 seconds.

The LED indicator ① flashes once per second.

The phone adapter connects automatically to your Tek.

The pairing process can take up to 2 minutes.

The LED indicator on the phone adapter flashes twice per second when devices are successfully connected.

Tek and your hearing instruments now work as any other bluetooth phone.

For placing a call dial the requested number on your phone.
Press the Enter button ③ on the phone adapter to transfer the call to your Tek and hang up the phone.
