Please read the instruction manual thoroughly before using your new appliance. It is important to keep these instructions as a useful reminder that'll help you enjoy the many features available. The manufacturer is not responsible if the appliance becomes damaged or defective as a result of the user not following the information included in the instruction manual. If the appliance becomes faulty during regular use, it should only be repaired by an authorised service engineer.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
The following safety instructions must be followed when using the appliance. Please read this section very carefully!
Of course, it's not possible for us to anticipate or provide safety rules for every specific situation, so we ask you to apply commonsense precautions when using the appliance in a situation that isn't described below.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
• Children being supervised not play with appliance. - Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- WARNING!
Never leave children unattended with the packaging material or the product. Otherwise there is a risk to life from suffocation. Please keep children away from the product at all times.

Batteries are not intended for children. Do not leave batteries lying around. They may otherwise be swallowed by children or pets. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
- When the appliance is not in use, always remove the batteries. This will prevent damage to the appliance in the event electrolyte leaks from the batteries.
- Remove spend batteries from the appliance immediately. Electrolyte may leak from spent batteries, causing damage to the appliance
- Do not put spent batteries in a rubbish bin, but in special containers for used batteries.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself, only authorized and qualified personnel may repair this device.
- Keep the appliance away from water.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
— by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
- These electronic kitchen scales are intended only for household use. Do not use for industrial or retail purposes. They cannot be used for calibrated or commercial weighing.
- Never use the appliance outdoors.
- Must not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
If humidity gets into the appliance, it can cause defects, so do not use it in the bathroom or any other room where there is high humidity.
- These electronic kitchen scales contain very fragile parts. Therefore please do not allow children to play with them unsupervised.
- Avoid exposing the electronic kitchen scales to direct heat or sun! Do not place the device near to heating equipment, e.g. heaters, radiators or ovens. This may cause distortion or damage to the device cover and impair its electronic parts.
- The device must only be operated on a horizontal, at surface e.g. a hard surface table or workplace! Make sure the device is never used on an inclined or otherwise unstable surface – this may result in weighing inaccuracy, or the scales being overturned from their operating area or dropped. Do not use the scales if the surface is unsuitable as this might result in accidental overturning or dropping of the product.
- Do not overload the scales! The device is only capable of weighing a maximum of 3 kg. Loads exceeding 3 kg cannot be weighed or displayed by the scales, and the product can be permanently damaged by overloading: To avoid this, you must estimate the load to be weighed. The manufacturer shall not assume any responsibility for damage resulting from overloading!
- Don't use the appliance in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapors or liquids.
- Always remove the battery when it stops working. Never leave a dead (,flat') battery in the appliance.
- If there is no display after switching on, check the batteries are correctly inserted and making good contact with the battery holder connectors.
- The manufacturer shall not be liable for breakage or damage resulting from any modification, rough handling or cleaning, battery leakage, incorrectly replaced batteries or neglect of any provision described in the user's manual.
- Take care not to drop anything onto the scales or to allow foreign objects to enter the cover openings or gaps!
- Do not store anything on the kitchen scales – the weighing surface must only be used for kitchen (household) weighing.
- Place the kitchen scales in a suitable location for weighing without risk of overturning. If left unused, store in a safe place.

The appliance must not be disassembled, its casing must not be removed, or its repair attempted. There are no parts inside the appliance that could be home repaired or used for any other purpose. In the case of any defect of the appliance please have it repaired only by an authorized special service station. The manufacturer does not undertake any warranty for any improper attempt at repair, or any intervention performed by unauthorized persons.

All electrical and mechanical equipment needs to for appropriately. It's important to note that using or storing the appliance in certain conditions may adversely lifespan and functionality. Always protect the appliance from the conditions listed below.
Using or storing the appliance in a wet, humid or damp environment can cause:

- rust and corrosion affecting electrical components and metal parts.
Using the appliance in a dusty environment or in the kitchen (where the air may be contaminated with vapors from cooking oil or grease) can cause:
- greasy dust coatings on the mechanical and elements and the casing of the appliance, which could result in electrical contact failure or even complete breakdown, and could also damage the plastic and rubber elements.
The effects of direct sunlight on the appliance can include:
- accelerated deterioration of the appliance casing plastic and rubber components, damage to strength and other structural features. The appliance's surface may porous and fragile, which may result in a safety risk.
Storing the appliance in cold or frosty environment may cause:
– damage to the plastic and rubber components; if they become fragile, this may result in a safety risk,
- oxidation resulting from condensation, and corrosion of the metal components.
Direct and indirect heat (e.g. being too close to an oven or a heating appliance) can cause:
- damage, deformation, softening or melting of plastic

Following the operating instructions and avoiding any of the conditions listed above will help you increase the lifespan of the appliance. The manufacturer is not responsible if the appliance is stored inappropriately or contrary to these in. You are recommended to have the appliance serviced regularly by an authorised engineer to keep it working for as long as possible.

- The appliance can be energized only by batteries. Neither a mains connection, supply adapter nor supply accumulator can be used for its power supply.
- Please use only batteries as specified in the instruction manual. Other batteries (other size or shape) cannot be inserted in the appliance and it may become inoperable or damaged when used with batteries supplying a different voltage.
Battery replacement
• The battery must be replaced when the low-battery warning appears on the display.
Replace the batteries by following these instructions.
- Remove the cover of the battery holder.
- Remove the dead battery and insert a new one, making sure
and its the polarity (+/-) of the battery matches the markings on the appliance. Please take care when doing this; the warranty become doesn't cover damage caused by replacing the battery incorrectly. - Replace the battery cover.
- Never dispose of the replaced batteries in the household waste, because they will endanger the environment! Please use a dedicated waste container provided for this purpose or a collecting station for disposing of used batteries!
- Never throw the batteries in the fire, because they can explode.

KEY FUNCTION
- ON/OFF/Tare key: Power on, Power off
OPERATION
- Take out the scale and open up the battery cover, insert the batteries into the battery case.
- Put the scale on a flat steady surface.
WEIGHTING STEP
- Below the weight indicator, press "ON/OFF/TARE" key to power on, the scale will show zero "0" on the display after 2 seconds.
- Place the container on the scales, LCD will show the weight of container.
- Press the “TARE” key, LCD will display zero. weight of the container, add the food into container, the net weight will appear on the display.
- Press the "ON/OFF" key again to power off.
ERROR DISPLAY
- When the screen shows “LO”, it means that the power is low, please change the batteries as soon as possible.
- When the scales are overloaded, “EEEE” will appear on the display.
BATTERIES
- Use 2 pcs AAA Battery.
- When change the batteries, please open the battery cover on the back, insert 2 pcs AAA Battery.
- In the battery case (make the positive poles towards), then close the battery cover tightly.

When using the device, remember that kitchen scales were designed for precise weighing of small items, and must not be overloaded; try to estimate the weight of the article to prevent overloading. For larger weights, try to divide the load into smaller units before weighing. Kitchen scales can measure up to 3 kg. Overloading can cause irreparable damage which qualifies es as heavy handling.
ADVICE FOR USE AND CARE
- Put the scale on a clean and flat table.
- The max. weight of the scale is 3000 g, which included the weight before tare.
- To ensure the life of the scale, do not put the scale under wet, hot & cold condition.
- The product belongs to high precision electronic weighing apparatus, please do not press or drop the scale otherwise the scale is easy to damage.
- If the scale surface is dirty, please clean the scale with soft cloth, do not use any chemical detergent and allow water to get inside the scale.
- The product is for small goods weighing only, do not use for legal trade.
- If the result appears improperly, please check about whether the clear batteries and the touching point contact well. Replace for new batteries if used for a long time already, then t again. If necessary, contact the local franchisers or telephone company.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
WARNING!
It is very important not to immerse the device or hold it under a jet of water!
- The kitchen scale's external cover must be wiped with a smooth, damp cloth which doesn't leave fibers, or is made of synthetic material. After cleaning wipe the cover with a dry cloth. Ensure humidity or dirt does not enter the device.
• When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzyl, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as
these may solve the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with coarse or grinding effect.
Ecology – Environmental Protection
The "crossed-out trash bin" symbol on equipment or packaging indicates that the cannot be treated as general household should not be disposed of into containers for such waste.

Obsolete or broken-down electrical device should be delivered to special designated collection points, organized by local public administration, whose purpose is to collect recyclable electrical equipment.
This way, each household helps reduce possible negative effects influencing natural environment and allows the reclaiming of materials which the product is made of.
