Frequently Asked Questions - INN-853 Innoliving

How do I start making ice with the INN-853?
Fill the water tank with clean water up to the MAX line. Plug in the appliance, press the power button, and select the ice cube size (small or large). The machine will start producing ice automatically.
How long does it take to make ice?
The first batch typically takes 6-8 minutes. Subsequent batches may take 10-15 minutes depending on ambient temperature and water temperature.
What should I do if the ice cubes are too small or too large?
Check the selected ice size. You can change it by pressing the size button. Also, ensure the water temperature is below 25°C for optimal performance.
How do I clean the ice maker?
Unplug the unit, remove the ice basket and scoop, and wipe the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a mixture of water and mild detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Descale every 2-3 months using a vinegar solution.
What does the 'Add Water' indicator mean?
The water tank is empty or below the minimum level. Refill with fresh water to resume ice making. The machine will automatically stop when the tank is empty.
Why is my ice maker not producing ice?
Common causes: water tank empty, ambient temperature too high (above 35°C), or the machine is in defrost cycle. Check the water level and ensure the room is cool. If the problem persists, allow the refrigerant to settle for 5-10 minutes after unplugging.
Can I use the ice maker outdoors?
It is designed for indoor use only, in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not expose to rain or moisture.
What is the maximum ice storage capacity?
The ice basket holds up to 800 g of ice. Once full, the machine will stop producing ice and the 'Ice Full' indicator will light up. Empty the basket to resume.
How do I change the ice cube size?
Press the 'Select' button on the control panel to toggle between small and large ice cubes. The corresponding indicator will light up. The change takes effect for the next batch.
Is the INN-853 energy efficient?
With a power consumption of only 150W, it is relatively energy efficient. It also has an auto shut-off feature when the ice basket is full or water tank is empty, saving energy.
