BEFORE USE, YOU SHOULD KNOW
What is the thermoelectric effect?
As its name suggests, it is the conversion of electrical voltage or vice versa through a thermocouple, we understand thermocouple as an electrical device consisting of two conductors (of different material) joined together, this produces a relationship between temperature and voltage which is called Seebeck effect.
When a voltage is applied, heat is transferred from one side of the thermocouple junction to the other producing a temperature difference.
Accordingly, the operation is based on the thermoelectric effect by means of a Peltier device. It will be able to function correctly as long as the ambient temperature does not exceed 28^ . Normally the ideal limit is 25^ . This is the first difference with compressor wine coolers, which are not affected by the outside temperature. If our wine cooler is going to be in a very hot place, it is better to choose a compressor model, even if it is more expensive.
As a direct consequence of the fact that the performance of the thermoelectric wine cooler depends on the outside temperature, it is necessary to have space around it, at the front, at the back and at the sides (minimum 8cm), so that the air circulates and does not heat up around the wine cooler. Therefore, they CANNOT BE INSERTED in any case.
Another aspect to consider is consumption. As they are less efficient, the electricity consumption of thermoelectric wine coolers is higher than that of compressor wine coolers.
What should we know?
Our wine cooler needs a period of 72-96 hours to regulate its initial temperature.
Due to the thermoelectric effect, we must always be aware that our product can cause a difference with the outside temperature of +- 15 degrees.
When temperatures are very high (summer) it will be more difficult to offer low temperature ranges.
Temperature range: 11 - 18 °C
It is recommended to always work at 17°C.
Tips for use
If we introduce a hot product, it will lower the temperature of the rest.
If we introduce a cold product inside, it will help to reach the required low temperature more easily.

USE YOUR SERVICE CELLAR
The temperature setting allows you to adjust it according to your needs:
Setting temperature before tasting red wines: Temperature recommended 16-17°C.
If the ambient temperature is higher or lower than the recommended temperatures, this will have a negative impact on its performance. For example, placing the unit in an extremely cold or hot place can cause variations in the internal temperature of the unit.
The internal temperature may vary depending on the location of the bottles, at the top, middle or bottom.
Adjustment may be necessary depending on the ambient
temperature.
Do not hesitate to leave a thermometer inside the cellar in order to carry out regular monitoring.
This service cellar is designed for the maximum storage of 18 standard size (75cl) bottles of wine.
Temperature setting:
- The keys <> and <> allow you to increase or decrease the temperature in increments of 1^ (the temperature range is 11 18^ )
- The button 🔊 > allows you to switch the interior lighting on and off.
