Installation

Ensure all packaging has been removed from the appliance and its partes.

Ensure the power cord is not damaged.

The electrical outlet should be easy to access in case it has to be unplugged due to an emergency.

Before using for the first time

Check that all accessories are included within the packaging and that they are not damaged. Pour some water in the jar and mix it a couple of times, following the steps described below in the “Operation” section, then empty the jar. Clean the jar cover, the measure cup and the jar thoroughly with hot water.

WARNING: The blades are very sharp. Handle the appliance with extreme caution and ensure it is unplugged from the electrical outlet while assembling or disassembling its parts.

Operation

To assemble the jar, put it on top of the body of the appliance and turn it clockwise:

Put the food you wish to mix inside the jar. Chop the food into small pieces. Usually an small amount of water is required. The mixture of food and water should not exceed the maximum level mark in the jar.

You can add additional ingredients during the mixing process though the top aperture in the cover, removing the measure cup and putting it again once they have been added.

To start the food mixing, plug the power cord into the electrical outlet. Ensure the speed selection knob is set to the "OFF" position.

Set the desired mixing speed by turning the speed selection knob to one of the following positions:

CAUTION: The appliance should not be kept in continuous operation during more than three minutes in a row.

Once the mixture has acquired the desired consistency, turn the speed selection knob up to the "OFF" position to stop the food processing.

To serve the mixture, turn the jar counterclockwise to remove it from the body and remove the top cover.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before handling the appliance, make sure it is unplugged from the electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.

CAUTION: The blades are very sharp. Please use and handle the appliance with extreme caution.

Clean the jar thoroughly after each use.

To clean both the jar and the blades, pour some soapy water into the jar and turn the speed selection knob up to the "P" position for a few seconds. Then remove the jar and rinse it thoroughly.

Clean the appliance's body with a slightly moistened cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe the surface properly.

Do not use aggressive cleaners. Do not use water to clean the appliance. NEVER immer-se the appliance in water.

Clean the appliance periodically. Avoid food scraps to get accumulated in the appliance.

CAUTION: NEVER attempt to put the appliance in the dishwasher.
