Installation
A safety distance must be left between the hob and the lower part of the hood:
The distance should be between 60 - 75 cm. In the case of gas appliances, the distance must be a 65. If the gas stove installation instructions specify a greater distance, this distance must be taken into account.
Select the smoke outlet
You can use the hood in two modes:
Extractor mode
.WARNING:
Exhausted air cannot be evacuated through an exhaust pipe used for gas waste from appliances fueled by gas or other appliances fueled by other fuels.
When exhaust air is vented, relevant local authority regulations must be fulfilled.
Hood has an air vent at the top to extract cooking odors to the outside.
Normally, extracted air is evacuated vertically. If there is a suitable recess above your kitchen, the exhaust air is evacuated through the wall modules and through the base of this recess to the outside.
If your kitchen has a duct under the wall modules, the exhaust duct can be installed so that the exhaust air can be discharged horizontally through the wall.
Recirculation mode
If it does not have a direct exhaust opening to the outside, the hood can also be operated in re-circ mode (i.e. without an exhaust opening to the outside, the filtered air is returned to the room). In this an activated carbon filter must be used as described in "Installing the activated carbon filter for circular mode".
Activated carbon filter is included.
Assembly
WARNING:
- When assembling or inserting the extractor filter and the charcoal filter, the appliance must not be connected to the power supply.
If mounting accessories are not used, there is a risk of electrocution.
CAREFUL:
Before installation, check that the wall or wall module has sufficient load capacity to support the hood. When drilling holes in the wall, you should always make sure that there are no electrical wires or other objects that can be damaged.
Make sure the ventilation openings are unobstructed.
NOTE: Recommendations for installation
- During installation, ask someone else to help you.
- Wear protective gloves to avoid injury from sharp edges.

- Determine the position of the hood centered on the hob, respecting the specified safety distances.
- Mark the holes required for wall mounting using the included drilling template and check them with a spirit level.

- wall mounting holes for the respective brackets (1+2+3). Insert the bushings (4) and tighten the clamps with screws (5/6).
• Install the suspension rail (1) onto the hood body, as well as the mounting rail with the clamp (2) the upper edge, parallel to the rail (1). Determine the length of the duct cover extension in advar - Before hanging, insert the connecting piece with the non-return valves into the exhaust pipe from above. Check that the connector's mounting hooks snap into place. a
For extraction mode:
- You must connect the supplied flexible extraction tube with an inside diameter of ∅ 150 mm (Fig. and connected to the outside through the extraction outlet.
- Fix the hood to the suspension rail (1). Make sure it is secure and level horizontally.
- Remove the protective plastic from the telescopic conduit.
- Fix the outer (lower) duct with the mounting rail, without the clamp (3). The gutter is attached to the holes provided from the inside of the duct. Screw in two screws (7) from the back.
- Place the outer duct with the fixed rail (3) over the hood. Fasten the rail (3) to the wall, parallel to the other rails (1 + 2) .
- Slide the inner (top) duct along the slide fitting, into the outer duct (bottom). Check that the inner duct lines up with the top ventilation holes. Determine the length of the duct cover extension by pulling the inner duct up or sliding it back into the outer duct.
- For extraction mode, position the extraction hose correctly.
- Pull up the inner duct cover and fix the duct unit on the side of the previously mounted rail (2) by tightening the screws (6+7).
Activated carbon filter installation for recirculation mode
- Remove the aluminum grease filter.
- Place the charcoal filter over the air inlet of the extraction duct. Check that the extraction duct must studs fit into the charcoal filter mounting slots. Rotate the corresponding filter clockwise until it clicks in place.

- Reinstall the aluminum grease filter.
