FIG. 1
USE
- Wash the blade unit, container and lid before using for the first time.
- Place the blade unit in the bottom of the container and turn anticlockwise to fasten in place.
-
Place the motor unit on a smooth, horizontal surface and make sure the plug is not plugged in.
-
Open the lid by turning it anticlockwise and put it beside the blender. Peel and remove the cores from fruit and vegetables and cut them into smaller pieces before putting them in the container. Some liquid should usually be added for the blender to work smoothly. The amount of food must not exceed the MAX marking, or be less than the MIN marking on the container. A suitable ratio between fruit/vegetables and liquid is 2:3. Ingredients can be added to the container through the opening in the lid when the blender is running. Replace the measure afterwards.
- Put the lid on the container and turn it clockwise.
- Make sure that the control switch is in the 0 position.
- Put the container on the motor unit and turn it clockwise until it fastens in place. The container has a safety function that prevents the blender from working if the container is not fitted properly.
- Plug the plug into the power point.
- Set the control switch in the required position to start the blender.
- When in use the control switch can be turned to pulse mode P to speed up the blender.
FIG. 2
- Turn the control switch to the 0 position when the mixture has obtained the required consistency.
- Turn the container anticlockwise and lift it off the motor unit, release the lid, and serve from the container.
NOTE:
- Check that you have put the lid on properly before starting the blender. Never open the lid during use.
-
Do not run the blender continuously for more than 3 minutes, and wait until it has cooled before using it again.
-
The blender is not suitable for whisking the whites of eggs, mashing potatoes, mixing dough, or pressing juice from fruit and vegetables.
- The blender cannot be used to crush ice.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the motor unit
- Pull out the plug before cleaning.
- Wipe the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth.
NOTE:
- Do not use abrasive detergents, this can damage the motor unit.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning the container
The blender's automatic cleaning feature can be used for quick and simple cleaning of the container:
- Pour lukewarm water and a little washing-up liquid into the container, turn the control switch to position 1, and run the blender for a few seconds.
- Remove the container from the motor unit and rinse under running water.
- Remove the blade unit from the container and remove the measure from the lid. Rinse the container, blade unit, lid and measure under running water.
- Wipe all the parts and replace them in the reverse order.
NOTE:
Never dismantle the motor unit if a problem occurs during use. The motor unit does not contain any parts that can be repaired by the user. Take it to an authorised service centre for inspection and repair.
