How do I measure DC voltage with the VMA332?

Set the rotary switch to the DCV position. Connect the black lead to COM and red lead to VΩmA input. Touch probes to the circuit and read the display. Ensure the voltage does not exceed 600V.

Why does my VMA332 show 'OL' on the display?

'OL' means overload. The measured value exceeds the selected range. Switch to a higher range or check if the input is within limits.

How to test continuity with this multimeter?

Turn the dial to the continuity/buzzer symbol (usually a diode with sound waves). Connect leads across the circuit. A continuous beep indicates a closed circuit (resistance below ~30Ω).

What type of battery does the VMA332 use?

It uses a standard 9V battery (6F22). Replace when the battery indicator appears on the LCD.

Can I measure AC current with this meter?

No, the VMA332 only measures DC current. For AC current, you need a clamp meter or a different model.

How to measure resistance?

Set the dial to Ω (ohms). Ensure no voltage is present in the circuit. Connect probes as usual and read the resistance value.

What is the maximum voltage I can measure?

The VMA332 can measure up to 600V DC and 600V AC. Exceeding this may damage the meter and pose safety risks.

How do I replace the fuse?

The VMA332 has a 10A fuse (for high current range) and a 200mA fuse. Remove the battery cover and fuses are located inside. Replace with same type and rating.

Is the VMA332 safe for use in CAT III environments?

No, it is rated only CAT II 600V. Use only in low-energy circuits, not for industrial or high-energy environments.

How to clean the multimeter?

Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any solvents or abrasives. Keep the input jacks clean and dry.
