Dimetrodon

Dimetrodon, which resembled a varan, belongs to the family of pelycosauria that lived in the Permian Period some 250 million years ago. Dimetrodon was a predatory reptile which grew to about 3,3 metres. It is characterized by the development of a large dorsal sail. Scientists believe that this sail functioned as a temperature-regulating device: to warm up in the morning and to cool down when the day became hot.

GB: ATTENTION: Read the instructions thoroughly prior to assembly. Each component is numbered (1). Adhere to specified sequence of assembly. Tools required: knife and file for removal of components from frame (2); rubber band, adhesive tape and clothes pegs for clamping components together after applying adhesive (3). Clean plastic components in a mild detergent solution and allow to air-dry so that paint and transfers adhere better. Prior to applying adhesive, check to see whether the components fit together; apply adhesive sparingly. Remove chrome and paint from the contact surfaces. Paint small components before removing them from the frame (4) (5). Allow paint to dry well, and only then continue to assemble. Cut out each transfer individually and immerse in warm water for approx. 20 seconds. Slide transfer off paper and into designated position, then press on with blotting paper.

This Model Kit has been subject to extensive quality and weight checks during the manufacturing process to ensure it leaves our warehouse in perfect condition. We are only able to process applications for missing parts if the following procedure is followed. In all cases the following will be required before we are able to process any request: Original receipt (proof of purchase) original instruction sheets (will be returned) and the bar code cut out of the box.
