How do I turn the speaker on and off?

Press and hold the POWER button to turn the speaker on or off.

How do I pair the speaker with my phone?

First, ensure the speaker is turned off. Then press and hold the POWER button for about 6 seconds until the LED flashes blue. On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select 'NAXA NAS-3042'. If a password is required, enter '0000'.

How do I charge the speaker?

Connect the included USB charging cable to the Power In port on the speaker and the other end to a PC USB port or a USB power adapter. The LED will glow red while charging and turn off when fully charged.

How long does the battery last?

The battery lasts approximately 2 hours of playback time after a full charge.

Is the speaker waterproof?

Yes, it has an IPX4 rating, meaning it is splash-resistant and suitable for use in the shower or near water. Do not submerge it.

Why won't the speaker turn on?

No, the speaker supports connection to only one device at a time. Disconnect the current device before pairing a new one.

When charging, the LED is red. When fully charged, it turns off. In pairing mode, the LED flashes blue. When connected, the blue light stays solid (but may be dim).

How do I reset or clear pairing information?

There is no dedicated reset button. To clear paired devices, turn the speaker off and then enter pairing mode again. It will forget the previous device and be ready for new pairing.

Charging the Battery

This speaker is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. To charge the battery:

1. Insert the charging cable to the Power In socket of the speaker. Connect the other end of the cable to a PC USB port or an optional AC/DC adapter. The LED will light red when the battery is being charged.
2. When the battery if fully charged, the LED will turn off.

Pairing the speaker to a mobile phone or other device

To place the speaker in Pairing mode, turn the speaker off, and then press & hold the POWER button for about 6 seconds. When the LED flashes blue, the speaker is ready to be paired.

When the speaker is in Pairing mode:

1. Set your phone, tablet or other device to search for Bluetooth devices (i.e., the speaker).
2. When the speaker is found (NAXA NAS-3042), select it from the list. If a password is needed, enter "0000".

Tips:

• The speaker must be off in order to activate pairing mode.
• Once the speaker is paired and connected to your phone or other device, it will connect automatically the next time you turn on the speaker as long as Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
