The SLD-200III automatically turns on when you press any key. If the display is blank, ensure there is sufficient light for the solar cell or check the battery.

What type of battery does it use?

How do I replace the battery?

Slide open the battery compartment cover on the back, remove the old battery, and insert a new LR44 with the positive (+) side up.

Why is the display dim?

The calculator uses solar power. Ensure you are in a well-lit area. If the display remains dim, the backup battery may need replacement.

How do I clear a mistake?

Press the C/CE key once to clear the last entry, twice to reset the calculation.

Can I calculate percentages?

Yes, use the % key. For example, 200 × 10 % gives 20.

How do I use the memory function?

Use M+ to add to memory, M- to subtract, MR to recall, MC to clear memory.

What does 'E' on the display mean?

'E' stands for Error, usually when the result exceeds 12 digits. Press C/CE to clear.

How do I clean the calculator?

Wipe the casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.

Is the calculator solar only or does it have a battery?
