Frequently Asked Questions - PURO ARGO

How often should I replace the filters?
The HEPA and activated carbon filters should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and air quality. The filter replacement indicator will alert you when it's time.
Can I wash the HEPA filter?
No, the HEPA filter is not washable. Only the pre-filter can be cleaned with a vacuum or rinsed with water and dried thoroughly before reinserting.
How do I clean the pre-filter?
Remove the pre-filter and gently vacuum it or wash it under running water. Let it dry completely (at least 24 hours) before placing it back in the purifier.
What does the filter replacement indicator mean?
When the indicator light turns on or flashes, it means the filters have reached the end of their lifespan and need to be replaced to maintain optimal performance.
Can I use the purifier continuously?
Yes, the PURIO air purifier is designed for continuous operation. It is safe to run it 24/7, but we recommend using the timer or auto mode to save energy.
Is the ionizer safe?
Yes, the ionizer is safe and can be turned on or off. It produces negative ions to help capture airborne particles. Ozone emission is within safe limits.
How loud is the purifier?
The noise level ranges from 25 dB on the lowest speed to 50 dB on the highest speed, which is comparable to a quiet conversation or background music.
What is the recommended room size?
The PURIO air purifier is suitable for rooms up to 30 m² (323 sq ft). For best results, place it in the room where you spend the most time.
How do I reset the filter indicator after replacement?
After installing new filters, press and hold the filter reset button (usually on the control panel) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light goes off.
Where can I buy replacement filters?
Replacement filters are available from the ARGO official website or authorized retailers. Use the model number PURO to find the correct parts.
