INSTRUCTIONS
Read the instructions carefully before operating the appliance or carrying out maintenance operations. Observe all the safety instructions; failure to observe the instructions may lead to accidents and/or damages. Store these instructions.
GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
- Only use the air purifier as described in this manual.
- Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage is equal to that specified on the product data plate (AC220-240V/50Hz).
- The purifier must be positioned on a flat, stable surface. To avoid risk of electric shock, short circuit and fire, do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged or if the electrical socket has worked loose.
- To disconnect the purifier, push the switch to OFF and remove the plug from the socket. When removing the plug, grasp the plug and not the cord. Do not use extensions.
- Do not damage the cord by winding it around sharp corners, twisting it, resting heavy objects on it, positioning it close to hot surfaces or allowing it to hang from the edge of a table.
- Do not make changes to the purifier. If the purifier needs to be repaired or a damaged power cord requires replacement, contact an authorised service centre.
- Before cleaning the purifier or removing the collector, turn the appliance off and unplug.
- Never touch the plug or purifier with wet hands.
- Do not operate the purifier in the presence of mosquito sprays.
- The purifier is not fitted with protection against humidity. As such, only use inside and away from showers, baths and washbasins or similar such places.
- Not suitable for outdoor use.
- Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
- Do not operate near a heater.
- Do not use near flammable gases such as natural gas or propane.
- Do not use near flames, kitchen appliances or heating appliances or, more generally, a hot surface.
- To avoid risk of accidents, keep the purifier away from children and the disabled.
- Do not put fingers and/or any objects in the air inlet/outlet grilles.
- Do not place objects on top of the appliance.
- When not in use for long periods, remove the plug from the socket.
- If rugs are present, the purifier must not be used on the floor. Optimal distance from the floor is 90 cm.
- Do not use the purifier with plugs other than that supplied with the purifier.

HOW TO USE THE PURIFIER
- Insert the power cord into the specific socket at the back of the product.
- Insert the plug into the electrical socket, ensuring the voltage is equal to that specified on the product plate.
- Press the ON/OFF button; the red LED turns on and the purifier begins purifying the air.
- Press the FAN button; the green LED turns on to show that the fan function is enabled. The fan increases the air flow circulating within the appliance and therefore makes filtering even more efficient.
HOW TO CLEAN THE COLLECTOR and THE PURIFIER

Do not operate the purifier before having correctly replaced the collector in its compartment.
HOW TO CLEAN THE PURIFIER
Clean the purifier casing with a soft, damp cloth.
Do not use oils, chemical substances or other items to clean that may damage the surface.
Always unplug before cleaning to avoid any risk of electric shock.
The electrostatic filter inside the product does not require any maintenance.
HOW TO STORE THE PURIFIER
If the appliance is not used for prolonged periods, it must be stored together with this manual in its original packaging, in a cool and dry place.

INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
When this appliance reaches the end of its useful life, it must not be disposed of together with household waste but must be delivered to appropriate separate waste disposal plants or to dealers that provide similar service. Separate waste disposal of electrical and electronic appliances prevents possible negative effects on the environment and human health resulting from inadequate disposal, and also allows for recovering and recycling the materials comprising the appliances to ensure significant saving in terms of energy and resources. The separate disposal obligation is underlined by the crossed-out dustbin symbol appearing on the product. Illegal disposal of the product by the user shall determine the application of the administrative sanctions defined by the regulations in force.
