Frequently Asked Questions - QC10AWNQH Alogic

What battery types can this charger handle?
The QC10AWNQH supports NiMH, NiCd, and Li-ion batteries in sizes like AA, AAA, 18650, and 14500. Always check battery polarity before inserting.
How do I know when charging is complete?
Each slot has an LED: red indicates charging, green indicates fully charged, and blue signals a fault or incompatible battery.
Can I charge different battery types at the same time?
It is recommended to charge batteries of the same type and capacity simultaneously. The charger features independent slots, but mixing chemistries may reduce performance.
What should I do if the charger shows a blue LED?
A blue LED indicates a fault. Remove the battery and check for reverse polarity, damaged terminals, or an incompatible battery type. If persistent, do not use the battery.
Is this charger suitable for car use?
No, the QC10AWNQH is designed for household AC power only (100-240V). Do not attempt to use it with a DC adapter or car battery.
How long does it take to charge a 2000mAh battery?
Charging time varies: at 500mA it takes about 4 hours, at 2000mA about 1 hour. The charger automatically selects the optimal current based on battery type.
Can I leave the charger plugged in when not in use?
Yes, but it is safe to leave plugged in. The charger consumes negligible standby power. However, for fire safety, unplug when unattended for long periods.
What does the overcharge protection do?
The charger automatically stops current flow when the battery reaches its maximum voltage, preventing overheating and damage to the battery.
How do I clean the charger?
Unplug the charger. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Ensure vents are free of dust.
What should I do if the charger stops working?
First, check the power outlet. If the LED remains off, try a different outlet. If still not working, the charger may be faulty. Since it is non-repairable, contact Alogic support for warranty replacement.
