How do I preheat the grill?

After inserting the grill plate and thermostat, plug in the unit and set the thermostat to your desired temperature. Preheat for about 5 minutes until the indicator light turns off, indicating the plate has reached the set temperature.

Can I use metal utensils on the grill plate?

No, do not place metal utensils or other metal objects on the grill plate, as they may heat up and damage the non-stick surface.

Is the grill plate dishwasher safe?

No, do not immerse the grill plate or thermostat control in water. Wipe the plate with a soft cloth or paper towel. The cool-touch base and glass lid can be washed with soap and water.

What should I do if the power cord is damaged?

If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced with the same type and size by an authorized service center. Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

HOW TO USE

1. Insert the grill plate into base by aligning the plate socket into the base hole and push down the grill plate.

2. Insert the thermostat control on the plate socket

Note: Make sure that it is set to "OFF" position before inserting the thermostat control into the plate socket.

1. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.

1. Place the cover on the top of the grill plate.

2. Preheat the unit for about 5 minutes before cooking.

Note: When the Grill Plate reaches the required temperature, the power light indicator will turn off.

1. After preheat, put butter or oil into the grill plate.

Note: Putting butter can also add aroma to the food.

1. Place the ingredients or food into the grill plate and cover it with glass lid.

2. Adjust the Thermostat Control according to the cooking requirement. Note: For best cooking result, kindly use medium to low heat to avoid burnt food, a very high temperatures can also cause discoloration and shorten the life span of any plate surface. If higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium heat for a few minutes.

3. Once the food is cooked, remove it from the Grill Plate.

4. Turn OFF and unplug the unit every after use.

Note: It is normal that the thermostat light indicator will turn on and off. The light indicator turns on when it needs to reach the desired temperature and turns off when it reaches the desired temperature set.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Always unplug the unit from the convenience outlet and allow to cool down before putting ON or taking OFF parts or accessories before cleaning.
2. Wipe the grill plate with paper towels or soft cloth.
3. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
4. Do not immerse the grill plate and thermostat control in water or any other liquids.
5. Cool-touch base and glass lid are washable with soap and water.
