When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Do not use the appliance on any metal table.
- Do not use the appliance next to devices, which react sensitively to magnet (e.g., radios, TV, cassette recorders, etc.).
- Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the appliance and from the convenience outlet where the appliance is plugged.
- Before using the appliance, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.)

Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the appliance to the nearest Authorized Service Center.

Do not use a two-way socket with another appliance.

Do not place the unit near gas stove, an electric burner, in heated oven or near any hot surface.

Do not touch the appliance and the power plug with wet hands.

Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.

Do not place any metal kitchen utensils, knives or other metal objects on the appliance. These may heat up when the appliance is turned on.

Do not place any magnetic objects on the grill plate while the appliance is in use.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquids.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Extreme caution must be taken in moving an appliance containing hot oil or liquids.

Make sure that the unit is unplugged before replacing or removing any of its parts or accessories.

HOW TO USE
-
Insert the grill plate into base by aligning the plate socket into the base hole and push down the grill plate.

Insert the thermostat control on the plate socket
Note: Make sure that it is set to "OFF" position before inserting the thermostat control into the plate socket.
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.

Place the cover on the top of the grill plate.

Preheat the unit for about 5 minutes before cooking.
Note: When the Grill Plate reaches the required temperature, the power light indicator will turn off.
- After preheat, put butter or oil into the grill plate.
Note: Putting butter can also add aroma to the food.

Place the ingredients or food into the grill plate and cover it with glass lid.

Adjust the Thermostat Control according to the cooking requirement. Note: For best cooking result, kindly use medium to low heat to avoid burnt food, a very high temperatures can also cause discoloration and shorten the life span of any plate surface. If higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium heat for a few minutes.

Once the food is cooked, remove it from the Grill Plate.

Turn OFF and unplug the unit every after use.


Note: It is normal that the thermostat light indicator will turn on and off. The light indicator turns on when it needs to reach the desired temperature and turns off when it reaches the desired temperature set.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the unit from the convenience outlet and allow to cool down before putting ON or taking OFF parts or accessories before cleaning.
- Wipe the grill plate with paper towels or soft cloth.
- Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
- Do not immerse the grill plate and thermostat control in water or any other liquids.
- Cool-touch base and glass lid are washable with soap and water.
