Frequently Asked Questions - ER-CKL1 PANASONIC

How do I adjust the cutting height on the ER-CKL1?
The cutting height is adjusted centrally via a lever near the rear wheels. There are 5 positions ranging from 20 mm to 70 mm. Always unplug the mower before adjusting.
Is the Panasonic ER-CKL1 suitable for small gardens?
Yes, with a 32 cm cutting width and 30 L grass box, it is ideal for lawns up to 500 m². Its lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver.
Does the ER-CKL1 come with a mulching function?
Yes, a mulching plug is included. When inserted, the grass clippings are finely cut and returned to the lawn as natural fertilizer.
How do I sharpen the blade on the ER-CKL1?
Unplug the mower, tip it on its side, and remove the central bolt holding the blade. Use a file or grinder to sharpen the cutting edge. Reinstall securely. Consider professional sharpening every season.
What type of power cord does the ER-CKL1 require?
It uses a standard household power cord (220-240 V, 50 Hz) with a 10 m cable attached. Extension cords should be rated for outdoor use and at least 1.5 mm² cross-section.
Can I use the mower in wet grass?
It is not recommended. Wet grass can clog the blade and grass box, and may cause slipping. Always mow dry grass for best performance and safety.
How often should I empty the grass box?
Empty the grass box when it is about two-thirds full to ensure good airflow and efficient collection. Overfilling can cause clogging and reduce mowing quality.
What safety features does the ER-CKL1 have?
It includes a safety switch on the handle that stops the motor if released, and an overload protection that shuts off the motor if the blade jams.
How should I store the lawn mower in winter?
Clean the mower thoroughly, remove the battery if cordless, store in a dry place. Empty the grass box and ensure the blade is clean and oiled. Fold the handle for compact storage.
Where can I find spare parts for the ER-CKL1?
Spare parts like blades, grass boxes, and wheels are available through Panasonic service centers or authorized online retailers. Common parts include the cutting blade (ref. ER-CKL1-BLADE) and grass box (ref. ER-CKL1-BOX).
