General
The Fluid Audio Axis is a large-diaphragm condenser studio recording microphone.
It is constructed of a sophisticated electronic circuit coupled with our newly developed 34mm gold-sputtered, large-format diaphragm. Its discrete class A FET electronics feature a transformer coupled balanced output.
Axis displays outstanding directivity, high sensitivity output and low noise. With its smooth frequency response, large dynamic range, and low distortion, it is perfect for vocals, acoustic guitar, piano or drum overheads. It is an all-around great performer whether you're recording, broadcasting or performing on-stage.
Accessories
- Shock mount
- Zip pouch
- 2-layer Pop filter
- Hard case
- 5 meter / 16.4 ft Scale-Technologies high-grade microphone cable
Features
• Large capsule (34mm) with gold-sputtered membrane
- Cardioid polar pattern
• High sensitivity and low noise
- High SPL
- Elegant and durable brass housing
• Gold plated output connectors
Supplying Power to Axis
- Connect all cables before applying power to the microphone and never remove the microphone cable while the power is connected.
- The Axis requires P48 volts phantom power to operate properly.
- If used with mixer or preamp that does not have phantom power, then an external phantom power supply is required.
- Some phantom power supplies do not supply the voltage at which they are rated. If the required voltage is not supplied, the dynamic range and general performance of the microphone will be reduced.
- We strongly suggest the use of a reputable high-quality power supply.
Damage caused by a faulty power supply is not covered by the warranty.
