How do I empty the dust container?

Press the locking button on the dust cup, remove it, open the lid, and empty the dust. You can wash the container with water, but ensure the cassette filter is removed and the container is completely dry before reinserting.

How often should I clean the HEPA filter?

Clean the HEPA filter when the filter indicator turns fully red or when suction decreases. Rinse it under lukewarm water, allow at least 24 hours to dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use a brush or hot water.

What should I do if the vacuum cleaner loses suction?

Check if the dust container is full, filters are dirty, or there is a blockage in the nozzle, tube, or hose. Empty the dust container, clean the filters, and remove any blockages. If the issue persists, contact Fakir service.

Can I use the vacuum cleaner on all floor types?

Yes, it comes with a floor nozzle adjustable for carpet and hard floors. Use the hard floor nozzle for tiles, parquet, or PVC, and the turbo brush for carpets. Adjust the carpet/hard floor switch accordingly.

How do I clean the cassette filter?

Remove the cassette filter from the unit, open the cover, take out the sponge and felt filters. Wash them gently under warm water without rubbing, let them dry completely, then reassemble: place the white filter first, then close the cover.

What accessories are included with the Fakir Veyron Turbo Öko?

The package includes: floor nozzle, turbo brush, crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle, hard floor nozzle, narrow space accessory, telescopic tube, hose with handle, HEPA filter, cassette filter, and instruction manual.

Is the vacuum safe to use around children?

How do I rewind the power cord?

Press the foot button labeled 'cable rewind' to automatically reel in the cord. Gently guide the cable with your hand until it is completely wound.

What should I avoid vacuuming?

Do not vacuum inflammable materials, glass or metal splinters, stone dust, flour, or substances constituting a health hazard. Also avoid wet surfaces or picking up water.

Where can I find replacement filters?

Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time. Keep the operating instructions in a safe place. - If there is any damage on the vacuum cleaner or power cord or the plug, do not use the vacuum cleaner. Apply to an authorized Fakir Service.

- Don't use the vacuum cleaner to suck up inflammables and glass or metal splinters or the clothes. This appliance is not suitable to be used to pick up substances constituting a health hazard.

- If the appliance has breakdown, it may only be repaired by the maintenance center. Never dismantle it by yourself blindly.

- Don't suck up surface covered with plastic, cement, Stone dust or flour.

- The appliance is operated with electrical power which means there is in principle a risk of electric shock so that do not touch the plug with wet hands.

- If you want to pull the plug out of the socket then always pull directly on the plug. Never pull on the cable as this could damage it.

- Make sure that the power cable is not bent, caught or run over, and that it does not come into contact with heat sources or sharp edges.

A combination of highly efficient accessories i.e. vacuum nozzle, tube, hose, *HEmotor, filter and appliance provide optimum vacuum power at low energy usage. It offers excellent dust collection, low dust release and low noise level on both carpeted and hard floors.

Switch off the device before changing the nozzles.

- Insert the corresponding nozzle securely with a slight turn onto the handle of the suction hose, or onto the telescopic suction tube.

Crevice nozzle

The crevice nozzle allows dirt from deep cracks in upholstered furniture, corners, skirting boards etc. to be suctioned off.

Upholstery nozzle

The can be used to vacuum clean curtains, upholstered furniture etc. It has a thread pick-up to collect fluff and threads from textiles.

Turbo nozzle

Turbo brush is mostly recommend for pet hair, it has a rotating brush and effective on carpets. Its brush provides revival of carpets.

Hard floor nozzle

The hard floor nozzle is used for cleaning hard floors such as tiles, parquet or PVC etc.

Preparing the accessory for vacuuming under the bed:

Engage the parts of your attachment that is composed of two parts and ensure that the on-off button is locked. See Figure A

Storage of the accessories and detachment of the parts:

Press the lock button of your accessory and remove it by pulling it out on the direction of OK; and detach the parts.

Mounting the accessories

1. The appliance should be switched off and unplugged.
2. Remove the nozzle from the telescopic tube.
3. When required, push the desired nozzle onto the lower end of the telescopic tube or the handle.

ATTENTION!

Be sure that all filters were attached correctly to the appliance before you start cleaning. Filters must be undamaged and dry. Uncompatibility can damage your vacuum cleaner.

ATTENTION!

If you use the cylinder vacuum cleaner without attached nozzle, there is a greater risk of accidentally vacuuming up objects.

Operation

1. Plug the suction hose adapter into the suction hose receiver and lock the adapter by turning it clockwise to the stop point.
2. Push the handle into the upper end of the telescopic tube.
3. Push the floor nozzle/turbo brush onto the lower end of the telescopic tube.
4. Adjust the length of the telescopic tube. To do this, pres the telescopic tubelock forwards. Then pull the telescopic tube by the handle to the desired length. To lock it, release the telescopic tube lock while you pull.
5. Pull the cable till you see the red mark on the cable.
6. Switch on the cylinder vacuum cleaner using the on/off switch.

7. Adjust the carpet/hard floor switch depending on the type of flooring:

8. Hard floor laminate flooring, tiles, PVC flooring, etc. (with brush)

9. Carpet long and short pile carpets, runners, etc. (without brush)
10. To vacuum, pull the cylinder vacuum cleaner behind you like a sledge.

Your divice has electronic power adjustment. You can increase or decrease the vacuum power when you would like. We advise you to keep the suction power at medium/minimum level for carpet cleaning, and at maximum level parquet and wet floor cleaning.

After Use

WARNING!

Follow the steps below as soon as you stop vacuum cleaning. Never leave the appliance unattended.

• Press the foot button "On/Off" to switch off the vacuum cleaner.
• Remove the plug from the mains socket.
• Press the foot button "cable rewind" to reel in the cable.

Gently guide the cable with your hand until the cable has been completely wound.

NOTICE!

Only use original Fakir filters.

This is the only way to ensure that the excellent filter properties of the vacuum cleaner are utilised.

Filter changing and dust container cleaning

When the dust container or filters are full or if the accessories are blocked (hose, pipe, nozzle) suction performance will decrease. In this case, clean the dust container or blocked filter or remedy the blockage.

1- Spilling rubbish from the dust compartment subassembly

Always operate the cleaner with the dust compartment subassembly whole installed.

The dust container must be emptied if the window of the filter indicator turns fully red when the cleaner is operating at maximum power and the nozzle is raised from the floor.

1. After removing the flexible tube, handhold handle and press the locking button.
2. Take out the dustcup.
3. Take the dustcup lip off.
4. Carry away the dust-glass cap and Spill rubbish

5. Clean the dirt from deep inside and replace it.

6. The container can be washed under water but cassette filter must be taken off.

7. You place the dust container after dry well.
8. Close the lid and replace the dust compartment subassembly until it is locked.

Storage

• Insert the park holder of the floor nozzle into the nozzle holder on the underneath of the appliance.
• Store the vacuum cleaner in a place that is out of the reach of children.

CAUTION!

Never place the appliance next to heat sources and avoid direct sunlight, as the heat may damage the vacuum cleaner.

2. Cassette operation instructions:

For maximum performans of your device, pls make sure cassett filter is clean.

Remove the cassette filter holding from the grip and remove slowly and gently.

To open the cassette cover strech from the middle point of cassette locking hole in the direction of arrow and pull cassette cover slowly. Cassette cover should be removed from the place it has been mounted easily.

After cassette cover is removed, pull holding ring to remove black sponge filter and white filter.

Wash the filters under warm tab water -dirty side looking downwards- gently and make sure they are completely dry before placing them inside the casesste filter according to grouping instructions.

WARNING!

NEVER rub the sponge filter and felt filter when washing and make sure they are completely dry before grouping them.

Firstly place white filter side into the cassette.

After filter group is placed, close filter group cover.

Firstly place the lower side as shown in Figure 1. Afterwards, close the upper side as shown in Figure 2 and make sure it is closed.

3. Cleaning the HEPA

For maksimum performans of your device, pls make sure cassett filter is clean.

A- Take out HEPA assembly.

B- Rinse bracket and HEPA in lukewarm water and dry HEPA completely. (At least 24 hours)

How to use HEPA filter cleaning comb: Take out the HEPA filter from its housing. Use the cleaning comb after shaking off HEPA filter. The comb section is slowly placed between the gaps of the filter and moved slowly to the right and to the left. Finally, HEPA can be washed under running water, when necessary the dirt is directed to flow out by using HEPA Filter cleaning comb. The filter is dried up at room temperature after the dirt is removed completely and placed back to its housing. Do not use before making sure that HEPA filter is completely dry.

WARNING!

DO NOT use brush or any other object with sharp edge in case the sharp edge will damage the HEPA filter. DO NOT Wash the filter under hot water.

WARNING!

Switch off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance.

This ensures that the appliance is not switched on unintentionally.

WARNING!

Do not use cleaning detergents, abrasive agents or alcohol as these will damage the casing.

Only dry-wipe the appliance or clean with a damp cloth.

You can also clean the filter chamber with a damp cloth if necessary.

Suction accessories such as the hose, pipes or nozzles should be regularly checked for blockages, cleaned and, washed and dried.

Waste Disposal

If the service life of the device has ended, in particular if functional disturbances occur, make the worn-out device unusable by cutting through the power cable.

Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household

waste. Bring the worn-out device to a collection center. The packaging of the device consists of recycling-capable materials. Place these, sorted out according to material, in the collectors provided, so that recycling can be carried out on them. For advice on recycling, refer to your local authority or your dealer.

This appliance fulfills the requirements of the 2002/96/EC WEEE regulations.

Dispatch

Carry the appliance in the original package or a similar, well-padded package to prevent damage to the appliance.
