How do I insert and remove the battery?

To insert, slide the battery into the handle until it clicks. To remove, press the release buttons on both sides and pull the battery out.

What type of battery does the CFS-T RR use?

It uses a 14.4 V Li-Ion battery from Hilti. Use only Hilti approved batteries.

How do I change the bits?

The tool features a keyless chuck. Simply rotate the chuck sleeve to open, insert the bit, then tighten by hand.

What is the maximum drilling capacity?

In wood up to 20 mm, in steel up to 10 mm, and in masonry up to 8 mm.

How do I adjust the torque?

Rotate the torque adjustment ring located behind the chuck to select the desired torque setting (1-20). Higher numbers for tougher tasks.

Why is the LED light not turning on?

The LED light activates automatically when the trigger is pressed. If it doesn't work, check battery charge or contact Hilti service.

How do I clean the tool?

Use a dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use water or solvents. Keep air vents free of dust.

Can I use other brand batteries?

No, only use Hilti Li-Ion batteries to avoid damage and ensure safety.
