How do I turn on the fan without heat?

Set the thermostat to the minimum position and select the fan-only mode using the mode button.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

No, the heater is not waterproof and should not be used in wet areas like bathrooms.

How do I clean the heater?

Unplug the heater, let it cool, then wipe the exterior with a dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agents.

What does the tip-over switch do?

The heater automatically turns off if it is tipped over to prevent fire hazards.

Why does the heater turn off during use?

It may have activated overheat protection. Ensure the air intake and outlet are not blocked, and let it cool before restarting.

Can I use an extension cord?

It is not recommended. Plug the heater directly into a wall outlet to avoid overheating the cord.

How do I set the timer?

Press the timer button repeatedly to set the desired hours (1-8). The heater will turn off automatically after that time.

Is the heater suitable for large rooms?

The heater is designed for rooms up to 20 m². For larger spaces, performance may be insufficient.

How do I replace a fuse?

The heater has an internal fuse that should only be replaced by a qualified technician. Contact Ardes support.

Can I use the heater with a smart plug?

Yes, but ensure the smart plug is rated for the heater's power (2000 W). The heater may not resume all functions after power loss.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and

less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

If the power cable gets damaged, it has to be replaced only at a service centre approved by the manufacturer.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.

In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician. Do not leave parts of the packaging with in the reach of children. This appliance is not a children's toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with the necessary caution.

Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply voltage matches the indication on the data plate.

If the plug and socket are not compatible, the socket has to be replaced with a suitable type by skilled persons.

Do not use adapters or extension cables which do not meet current safety standards or that exceed the current carrying capacity limits.

When you don't use the appliance disconnect it from the power supply and assure that the interruptor is off.

Do not tug on the power cable or on the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.

The use of any electrical appliance requires that a number of basic rules are observed, namely:

- Never touch the appliance with wet or humid hands.

- Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sunlight).

- Do not subject it to rough handling.

Technical data indicated on the appliance.

CE

1. Be sure the main switch (6) is in Off position (O) then plug the appliance into the mains socket.

2. Turn on the main switch (6) ("I" position). The appliance emits a "beep".

3. Press the On/Off pushbutton (A):its indicator light will be on in the control panel.

4. Press power level pushbutton (C) to turn on the appliance. With this pushbutton you can select: heat function at minimum level (I), heat function at maximum level (II) and stand-by mode. The selected power level is indicated by its light on the control panel. In stand-by mode the indicator lights related to the power are off.

5. To distribute the air flow over a wider surface, press the oscillation pushbutton (B): it starts to swing from right to left and vice versa. When oscillation function is activated, its light will be on in the control panel. To deactivate the oscillation function press oscillation pushbutton again. Warning: the oscillation function will work even in stand-by mode.

6. When the unit is operating, you can set the timer to switch the appliance off automatically after the set time. Press timer button (D) on the control panel repeatedly to select the desired time period in 0,5 hour increments from 0,5 hour to 10 hours. The related indicator light will turn on in different color on the control panel. The blue light is related to the hours (1H-2H-3H-4H); the red light is related to half hour and hours and half (0,5H-1,5H-2,5H-3,5H). To set the timer from remote control push timer button (D) one time then push increase / decrease pushbuttons (G) to select how many hours the product should work before automatic shut-down. The display of remote control will show the selected hours. To deactivate timer function press timer pushbutton (D) on the control panel repeatedly till all the indicator lights will be off in the control panel. Warning: it's not possible deactivate timer function from remote control.

7. Press temperature pushbutton (E - in remote control only) then press increase / decrease pushbutton (G - in remote control only) to set the desired room temperature. The set temperature is visible in the display of remote control. Once the room temperature is around the set temperature, the appliance switch in fan mode and it will automatically switch in heating mode when the ambient temperature will decrease below the set value. Warning: before set the desired temperature select the heating power level by pressing power level pushbutton (C).

8. Press fan pushbutton (F - in remote control only) 2 times (1 time only if in stand-by mode) to select fan function. To deactivate this function press again fan pushbutton.

9. To turn the appliance Off, press On/Off pushbutton (A). Warning: the

unit is provided with function that allow to cool the ceramic heating element before turn off. Pressing the On/Off pushbutton (A) when the unit is in heating mode (power I or power II selected), the unit will works in fan function for 30 seconds after that it will turn into stand-by mode.

The remote control is provided with included battery. Before use it remove the plastic tag from the battery tray. When the battery is exhausted it must be replaced with another of the same type (CR2025).

NB: Unit and remote control are equipped with independent memory. Acting first on the control panel then on the remote, the settings that will be used are those of the remote control.

Maintenance

This appliance does not require any special maintenance.

Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it.

In order to clean the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth.

Never use abrasives or chemical solvents.

Do not use very wet substances, liquids or cloths to prevent water from entering into the apparatus and irreparably damaging it.

NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.

To clean the filter (picture on the side):

gently remove the back grill by pulling it outwards, remove the filter and clean it using a soft slight damp cloth then replace in the appliance and reseal the back grill.

The guarantee is valid for 24 months.

This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.

The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults.

After the guarantee has expired, the appliance will be repaired against payment. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons, animals or property due to misuse of the appliance and failure to observe the directions contained in the instructions.

Limits

All rights under this guarantee and any responsibility on our part will be voided if the appliance has been:

- mishandled by unauthorized persons

- improperly used, stored or transported.

The guarantee does not cover damage to the outward appearance or any other that does not prevent regular operation.

If any faults should be found despite the care taken in selecting the materials and in creating the product, or if any information or advice are required, please contact your local dealer.
