IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING THE PRODUCT, ALWAYS OBSERVING THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS AND OR INJURIES.
- Check if the voltage of the product, on the identification label, is compatible with the plug to use.
- Avoid accidents. After unpacking the product, keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have received instructions regarding to the use of the product or are supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
- It is recommended that children be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with the product.
- Ensure always place the device only on surfaces flat, firm, clean and dry.
- Do not use the appliance on surfaces flooded of liquids, on stoves or other apparatus, or next to the oven, to avoid accidents.

Keep your face away during the frying.

Never disconnect the appliance by pulling the power cord. Firmly hold the temperature selector and pull to disconnect.
- Do not touch or get close to hot parts of the product, because they can cause burns. Always hold by the handles to move the product.
- Keep the product out of reach of children, especially when in use or when it is still hot, to avoid burning.
- Do not use accessories that are not original of the appliance. The use of non-original accessories may damage the operation and cause damage to the user and the product.
- Never carry the product by the electric cable.
- Never leave the power cord get close to hot surfaces.
- Do not carry the product with hot oil, because it can cause burns.
- Never cut the food on the non-stick coating.
- Never immerse the thermostat in water or other liquids to avoid the risk of electric shock.
- During the use, keep the unit away from curtains, clothes, towels or other flammable materials. Allow air to circulate freely over and around the appliance.
- Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use handles or gloves.
- Do not use outdoors.
- The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of the appliance can cause injury.
- Caution when moving the appliance if it contains hot oil or other hot liquid.
- Remove the plug from the outlet when the product is not in use and before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool before removing or adding parts and before cleaning.
- Always place the temperature controller in the appliance before connecting it to the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn off the appliance, remove the plug from the wall outlet and remove the temperature controller from the appliance.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE POWER CORD
- A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of a person or a pet get entangled or stumble over a long cable.
- It is possible to buy and use an electrical extension, with the due precautions.
- If an extension is used, the nominal potency of the same must be equal or bigger than that of the appliance. The resultant cable must be placed so that it does not hang by the counter or by the table, where the children might pull him or cause accidental stumbles.

PRODUCT FEATURES
Thermostat with Temperature Selector
The thermostat has an operating indicator light turns off automatically when the skillet reaches the selected temperature. Thus, in use, the light turns on and off alternately indicating that the selected temperature is maintained.
The control temperature selector has different temperature settings for different uses.

Note
Temperatures are for guidance only and may need adjustment for various food and personal tastes.
When the knob is set to the low level, it is normal for the food begins to bubble, as the thermostat maintains the chosen temperature.
Tempered Glass Lid
The glass lid functions as an oven, ideal for use when the temperature and humidity levels should be controlled, such as cooking, grilling or sauces and soups. It also allows grilling large pieces of meat, because with the lid closed the heat and humidity are maintained during the preparation.
Nonstick Skillet
Has internal or external non-stick surface, for easy cleaning and fat-free cooking.
SPECIAL CARE
Care with the Thermostat
Do not wet the thermostat, if it occurs seek an authorized technical assistance. Do not try to turn the temperature selector dial beyond the limits between the “” (off) and 250°C (maximum) positions.
To disconnect the thermostat of the appliance, place the button to the “” position and remove the plug from the socket.
Careful with the hot pin guide
Wait until the appliance cool down completely before disconnect the thermostat. If you disconnect with the appliance still hot to bring to the table be careful not to touch the guide pin because it heats up when used.
Keep out of reach of children, away from wet surfaces with water or other liquid and away from flammable materials.
Care with the Nonstick coating
To prolong the life of the nonstick surface, we recommend to spread with margarine, butter or oil before use.
Use a soft, heat-resistant spatula to handle food during preparation.
Do not use metal objects, sharp and abrasive.
Never cut food on the plate with nonstick sheet. Do not place in dishwasher.
USE
Before First Use
- It is very important that you read carefully all instructions in this manual.
- Remove all packing materials.
- Wash the removable components, to remove any residue from the manufacturing process.
- Check that the power cord is disconnected from the outlet.
- Place the appliance on a flat and firm surface.
- Clean the nonstick surface with a damp cloth and dry with a cloth or paper towel.
- Grease the nonstick surface of the internal part of the skillet with a little of butter or kitchen oil.
- Turn the temperature selector button to the position "O".
- Connect the thermostat adjusting the guide pin in the hole in the center of the junction box.
- Check that it is firmly seated. Otherwise, there may be an abnormal warming which can
cause personal injury or damage to the appliance.
- Select the temperature 250^ C and wait until the operation indicator light turns off.
- Turn the temperature control button to the position " " and remove the plug from the socket.
- Wait for the appliance to cool down.
- Clean again the non-stick surface of the skillet, in accordance with chapter "Cleaning and Conservation"
Using your Electric skillet
Your Electric skillet is easy to use. You should just follow the instructions and attentive to the suggestions.
- Turn the temperature selector button to the position "O".
- Connect the thermostat adjusting the guide pin in the hole in the center of the junction box.
- Check that it is firmly seated. Otherwise, there may be an abnormal warming which can cause personal injury or damage to the appliance.
- Clean the nonstick surface with a damp cloth and dry with a cloth or paper towel.
- Connect the appliance into the socket.
- Select the adequate temperature for the food to prepare.
- After a few minutes the temperature reaches the set level and the indicator turns off. You can adjust the temperature control button to increase or decrease the temperature of the plate as needed for the dish in preparation.
- During the preparation the warning led will turn off and turn on indicating that the temperature is being maintained by the resistances through the thermostat.
Note
The cooking time varies according to the type of food and your personal taste. After preparation, the food can be kept warm using the position Simmer.
- After prepared the food, turn the temperature control button to the position Desl. and remove the plug from the socket.
- You can bring your Electric skillet to the table. For it turn the temperature selector to the position "Remove the power plug and disconnect the thermostat.
- It is not recommended to use the Electrical Pan on temperature-sensitive surfaces.
Attention! Be careful not to touch the guide pin. It is very hot during the use.
PREPARING FOOD
Food preparation follows the same model described in Chapter "Use". Follow the steps correctly, attentive to the observations and Bon Appetite!
Cooking Pasta
Boil 6 cups of water in the position 250^ C of the thermostat.
Add 250g (1 cup) of pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes.
If the water boils very fast, reduce the temperature to a lower position.
The cooking time varies according to the type of paste.
Cooking Vegetables
Heat the skillet in position 250^ C of the thermostat with a little oil to give flavor. For best results and a cooking more homogeneous, cut the vegetables in small pieces and with the same size.
Add the vegetables and seasoning, stirring continuously. Food as carrots, which take more time in cooking, must be added first.
The lid must be placed in the last minutes of the cooking.
Cook until the vegetables are lightly crunchy.
Fry and Brown Meat
Before cooking, it is important to fry and brown the meat to keep it juicy, preserving the juices and flavors, in addition to prevent sticking. Preferably, use meat at room temperature to reduce the cooking time.
Heat the skillet in position 250°C of the thermostat with the lid closed.
Remove the lid and fryer the meat on all sides.
When the meat is browned, reduce the temperature to 200^ C and close the lid until the meat is at the point of cooking that you want.
The fillet steak need to turn just one or two times.
Roast Meat and Poultry
Heat the skillet in position 250^ C of the thermostat. Use only a little of oil when use low fat meal.
Fry and brown the meat on all sides to keep it juicy, preserving the juices and flavors.
Place the thermostat in position 200°C and close the lid.
Turn the meat during cooking.
Fry
It is ideal to fry at medium level of oil. It is not desirable to fry with a lot of oil, because heat is lost and it is possible that the oil overflow.
Fry with Low Level of Fat
It is specially designed for eggs, omelets, bacon, sausages, fillets and pieces of chicken. So that the food remains creaking, do not use the lid.
Heat the skillet in position 250^ C of the thermostat with a little oil, because the non-stick surface does not need a lot of oil.
Fry with Medium Level of Fat.
It is specially designed for food in pieces, like pumpkin, potatoes or small pieces of meat. Heat the skillet in position 250^ C of the thermostat with sufficient oil for foods remains partially submerged. Be careful not to place too much oil. Fry without lid.
CLEANING AND CONSERVATION
Keep the product clean to work correctly.
The power cord must not be twisted, stretched or rolled around the appliance.
If the power cord is twisted, untwist before using the appliance.
When not in use, the product should be stored in dry, secure place and out of the reach of children.
Always disconnect the appliance plug before starting the clean.
The base of the appliance should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never immerse in water.
Do not use steel wool, abrasive products, soap, alcohol or any type of solvent, as they may damage the appliance.
Skillet
Make sure that the temperature selector is in position “” (offline) that the power cord is unplugged and the appliance is cold. Always disconnect the appliance plug before starting the clean.
Always clean the skillet after use. Use paper towels or a soft dry cloth or slightly moistened with water. Be careful so that moisture does not enter the base.
If necessary use a soft sponge with a little soap and water, taking care not to wet the box.

Storing your appliance
Let the appliance cool before storing. Store the Electrical Pan in a dry place, for example on the table of cooking or in a closet shelf. Wind the electric cable and secure with a hook.
