Frequently Asked Questions - MX-EP3101 PANASONIC

How do I clean the blender jar and blades?
After unplugging, disassemble the jar from the base. Rinse immediately after use. For thorough cleaning, remove the blade assembly and wash with warm soapy water. The jar and lid are dishwasher safe (top rack only). Dry all parts before reassembling.
What is the maximum capacity of the blender jar?
The jar has a total capacity of 1.0 liter. For best results, do not fill beyond the 0.75 liter mark when blending hot liquids or ingredients that expand.
Can I blend hot liquids in this blender?
Yes, but exercise caution. Allow hot liquids to cool slightly before blending. Do not fill beyond the 0.75 liter mark. Remove the center cap of the lid to allow steam to escape and cover with a towel.
Why does the blender not start?
Ensure the jar is properly locked onto the base. The blender has a safety lock mechanism that prevents operation unless the jar is correctly positioned. Also verify the power cord is securely plugged in and the outlet is working.
How do I use the pulse function?
The pulse function provides short bursts of power. Press and hold the pulse button for short intervals to chop or mix ingredients without over-blending. Release to stop.
What can I blend with this blender?
This blender is suitable for making smoothies, purees, soups, sauces, grinding coffee beans or nuts (in small quantities), and crushing ice. For hard ingredients, always add some liquid first.
Is the blade assembly removable?
Yes, the blade assembly can be unscrewed from the jar for easy cleaning. Be careful when handling the sharp blades. Ensure the assembly is tightly secured before use.
What does the safety lock feature do?
The safety lock prevents the blender from operating if the jar is not correctly locked onto the motor base. This reduces the risk of accidents. Always ensure the jar is properly aligned and clicked into place.
How do I replace the blade assembly?
If the blades become dull or damaged, you can purchase a replacement blade assembly. Unlock the jar from the base, unscrew the old blade assembly, and screw on the new one. Ensure it is tight. Contact Panasonic service for genuine parts.
Can the blender be repaired by myself?
Basic parts like the jar, lid, and blade assembly are user-replaceable. For electrical issues or motor problems, it is recommended to contact an authorized Panasonic service center to ensure safety and warranty coverage.
