Frequently Asked Questions - RA63b ROLLS

How do I connect speakers to the RA63b?
Use speaker wire (14-16 AWG) to connect the binding posts on the rear panel. Ensure proper polarity (+ to +, - to -). The RA63b supports 4-8 ohm speakers.
Can I use the RA63b with passive subwoofers?
Yes, you can connect a passive subwoofer to the speaker outputs, but ensure the subwoofer's impedance is compatible (4-8 ohms). For best results, use a powered subwoofer with the line output.
Does the RA63b have a headphone output?
Yes, there is a 1/4" (6.35 mm) headphone jack on the front panel. Plugging in headphones will mute the speaker outputs automatically.
What input sources can I connect?
The RA63b has three RCA line inputs for devices like CD players, tuners, or media receivers, and a 3.5mm aux input for smartphones or tablets. Select the desired input using the front panel rotary switch.
How do I set up the RA63b in a rack?
Attach the included rack-mount ears to the sides of the unit using the provided screws. Then slide the unit into a standard 19" rack and secure it with rack screws.
What is the power consumption of the RA63b?
The RA63b draws approximately 150W at full output. It has an internal switching power supply that accepts 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz.
Why is the RA63b not powering on?
Check the IEC power cord connection at the rear and the wall outlet. Verify the fuse is intact; if blown, replace with the same type (e.g., T2.5A/250V). If the issue persists, contact Rolls support.
Can I use the RA63b in a home theater setup?
Yes, it can be used as a stereo amplifier for front or surround channels. However, it does not decode surround sound formats; use an AV receiver's pre-outs to feed the RA63b for additional amplification.
How do I clean the RA63b?
Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the front panel and chassis. Do not use any liquids, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Keep ventilation slots clear of dust.
Where can I find the user manual or technical support?
The user manual is available for download at notice-facile.com or the Rolls official website. For technical support, contact Rolls via their support email or phone number listed on the product page.
