How do I assemble the blender?

Place the jug on the motor base, ensuring it clicks into place. Add ingredients, then attach the lid securely. The blender will not operate if the lid is not properly locked.

What is the maximum capacity for blending?

The jug has a capacity of 1.5 liters, but do not fill beyond the MAX mark (approximately 1.2 L for hot liquids) to avoid overflow.

Can I blend hot liquids?

Yes, but allow liquids to cool below 60°C (140°F) before blending. Always vent the lid slightly to release steam.

How do I clean the blender?

Fill the jug halfway with warm water and a drop of dish soap. Run on pulse for 30 seconds, then rinse. The jug and lid are dishwasher safe (top rack). Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

Why does the blender stop suddenly?

The blender has overheat protection. If it stops, unplug and let it cool for 15 minutes. Also check for overload; reduce ingredients if necessary.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Yes, use the pulse function for ice crushing. Add ice cubes up to 1 cup at a time for best results.

Is the blender BPA-free?

Yes, the jug is made from BPA-free plastic, safe for food contact.

What should I do if the blender leaks?

Check the sealing ring under the lid. Ensure it is properly seated and not damaged. Also check that the jug is correctly aligned on the base.

Can I replace the blades?

The blade assembly is replaceable. Contact Imarflex customer service for spare parts. Do not attempt to remove the blades yourself.

What does the warranty cover?

Imarflex offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

Lid Cover Glass Jar Handle Soya Filter Imarflex Base Speed Control Rubber Footing

ASSEMBLING THE GLASS JAR:

IMPORTANT: Your blender jar and blades are subject to wear during normal use. Always inspect the jar for nicks, chips or cracks. Always inspect blades for broken, bent or loose blades. Avoid using the jar or blades if damaged.

Contact the Imarflex Authorized Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.

Make sure that the blender is unplugged. Place blender base on clean, dry surface to keep foreign particles from being pulled up into motor during operation.

1. Put the Blade Assembly (6) into the Jar Support (7).
2. Put the Rubber Packing (5) on the inner edge of the Blade Assembly (6).
3. Attach the Safety Ring (4) into the bottom of the Glass Jar (3).
4. Insert the assembled Jar Support into the bottom of the Glass Jar (3) and turn clockwise until Glass Jar (3) locks into place.
5. Make sure that the blender is switched OFF.
6. Place the Glass Jar with Blade Assembly on the Motor Base (8) and press down until securely engaged.
7. Put the Center Lid (1) on the Lid (2).
8. Secure the Lid (2) into the Glass Jar (3) and press down.

HOW TO USE:

A. Blender

1. For initial use, wash glass jar and blade assembly thoroughly.
2. Put the glass jar with safety ring and blade assembly on the motor base.
3. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
4. Be sure to remove the seeds of the fruits/vegetables.
5. Put the desired mixture.
6. Put the cover on the glass jar and close securely. Place the center lid into the hole of the lid and turn clockwise to lock.
7. Switch to pulse, to crack the ice and then set the desired speed.
8. Additional ingredients can be added through opening in the center lid.
9. Maximum single operation should be up to 1 minute only.
10. After use switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.

Note: This unit is designed with a safety feature. If the Safety Ring is not properly secure into the bottom of the glass jar, this unit will not function.

SPEED SETTING GUIDE:

SPEED	USE
1	Low; for light usage with liquid
2	Medium-Low; for yogurt and milk based drink
3	Medium; soft/ripe fruits and softened vegetables
4	High; for mixing liquid with more solid consistency
Pulse	for ice crushing & short, powerful impulse movements

NOTE: Some electric smell may be observed on first use. The unit has an overload protection; motor will automatically stop when it gets hot.

CAUTION: When using ice, always put water or liquid and switch to pulse speed first before setting to desired speed.

B. Soy Milk Maker and How to Assemble the Filter

1. Place the filter inside the glass jar and press down until securely engaged.
2. Place the foodstuff you wish to process into the filter. Seeds and pips will be kept out of your juice by this convenient filter.
3. Put the lid on the glass jar and close securely. Place the center lid into the hole of the lid and turn clockwise to lock.
4. Switch the unit ON by selecting your desired speed.
5. After use switch OFF.

How to Make Soy Milk:

1. You need about 1 cup (125g) of soy beans and 4 cups (900ml) of water.
2. Clean the soy beans and soak them in water for 6-10 hours or overnight.
3. Place the filter inside the glass jar and press down until securely engaged.
4. Plug in the unit into the convenience outlet.
5. Put the cover on the glass jar and close securely. Remove the center lid.
6. Drain the soaked soy beans and put the soy beans inside the filter with 750ml of water.
7. Place the center lid back into the hole of the lid and turn clockwise to lock.
8. Switch the unit ON by turning to speed 4 until the soy beans grind and filtered.
9. Switch the unit OFF after use.
10. Pour the soy milk into the container.
11. Boil the soy milk for about 5 to 10 minutes. After cooling, the soymilk is ready.
12. Soy milk can be drunk as such but taste can be improved by adding some salt or fresh fruits depending on your taste.

USEFUL TIPS:

1. To achieve the best results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions through the opening in the lid one by one.
2. When mixing solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more liquid through the opening in the lid.
3. For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the blender in pulse mode to prevent the blades from stuck up.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

Motor Base

1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
2. Wipe or clean the outside surface with a damp or soft cloth.
3. Thoroughly clean Speed Selector Switch so that it works freely. It will become sticky when in use. Use a damp cloth or sponge to flush and clean the groove around the water shielded switch. You may also lightly spray the surface around the switch with an all-purpose cleaner and work the switch back and forth a few times to loosen any dried residue under switch.
4. Polish with a soft cloth.
5. Always be sure to wring excess water out of cloth or sponge when cleaning around the controls or any electrical part.

NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.

Lid/Center Lid

1. Wash in warm soapy water. Rinse under clean running water and dry.
2. Reassemble before use.

Method #1

1. After use, add warm water and a splash of vinegar to blender jar. Turn ON and let the blender work the liquid for about a minute. Pour out, rinse the blender jar well.

Method #2

1. Fill the blender jar half way with warm water, add a small amount of liquid dish detergent and turn the unit ON for about 30 seconds. Repeat if needed. Rinse well.

Method #3

1. If there was left sitting dried, crusty food bits inside the blender and blade assembly: fill with warm, soapy water (or vinegar water) and let sit for about 30 to 60 sec. Empty water to about half and then blend for 30 second intervals until clean.

1. Turn OFF the unit and wait for the blade and motor to stop

2. Always unplug the unit after every use.

3. Remove the blade assembly by turning it counter-clockwise.

4. Wash the rubber packing and jar support with soap and water.

5. Turn the glass jar upside down to remove excess water.

6. Wipe the glass jar and blade with soft cloth to dry.

7. Make sure to reassemble the unit properly before storing it.

8. Never leave food inside the blender jar for a long period of time.

9. Store the blender on a dry cool place.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
