Frequently Asked Questions - RoadRunner 507GPS PRESTIGIO

How do I install the Prestigio RoadRunner 507GPS dash cam?
Clean the windshield area, attach the mount using suction cup or adhesive, connect the power cable to the car cigarette lighter, adjust the camera angle, and insert a microSD card.
What type of microSD card is recommended?
Use a Class 10 or higher microSD card up to 32 GB capacity. The camera does not support cards larger than 32 GB.
Does the GPS work without a subscription?
Yes, the built-in GPS receiver operates independently and does not require any subscription. It records speed and location data directly to the video file.
How does loop recording work?
When the SD card is full, the camera overwrites the oldest unlocked footage. Critical files (e.g., from G-sensor events) are locked and protected from overwriting.
What is the G-sensor and how does it function?
The G-sensor detects sudden impacts or sharp movements. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video file so it is not overwritten during loop recording.
How do I view recorded videos?
You can play back videos directly on the camera's 2-inch LCD screen, or remove the microSD card and insert it into a computer to view the files.
Can I use the dash cam at night?
Yes, the camera features Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology to improve low-light performance and capture clearer footage at night.
What should I do if the camera stops recording?
First, check that the microSD card is properly inserted and not full. If the issue persists, format the card in the camera menu or replace the card.
Is the built-in battery replaceable?
The battery is internal and not user-replaceable. If the battery fails, contact Prestigio support for service options.
Where can I find the user manual?
The user manual is available for free download on the notice-facile.com website in PDF format. You can also request a translated version by email.
