HOW TO USE

1. Set fabric dial at the desired fabric marking.
2. Make sure the voltage indicated on the iron meets your local voltage. Allow iron to heat for 2 minutes on heel rest before ironing.
3. The pilot lamp glows when the iron is switched on, and goes off when the iron is heated up to the temperature selected by the fabric dial. The lamp will remain off as long as the iron keeps the selected temperature and as the temperature decreases, the thermostat will start working, and the lamp will glow again. The thermostat makes the pilot adjust automatically to the varying temperature as being selected by the fabric dial.
4. First iron chemical synthetic fabric at low temperature, and then, as the temperature rises, iron wool, cotton and linen accordingly. The iron heats more quickly than it cools.
5. Allow time for the iron to heat when changing from a low temperature to a high one. Conversely, wait a while when changing to cooler setting.
6. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
7. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
8. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
