How do I fill the water tank?

Open the tank cap at the handle, fill with distilled or demineralized water using the included measuring cup, do not exceed the max level. Close tightly before use.

Can I use tap water?

To prevent limescale buildup and extend the device's life, we recommend using distilled or demineralized water. Tap water may cause clogging of the steam function.

How long does it take to heat up?

The device heats up to the selected temperature in up to 30 seconds. The LED indicator will show when it is ready for use.

Can I use the styler on wet hair?

It is best to use the styler on dry or slightly damp hair. Using on dripping wet hair may cause water damage and ineffective styling.

How do I adjust the steam output?

Use the steam control button or slider on the handle to adjust the steam mist level from low to high. Press the steam button to release a burst of steam as needed.

What temperature should I use for my hair type?

For fine or damaged hair, use low temperatures (100-150°C). For normal hair, medium (150-190°C). For thick or coarse hair, high (190-230°C). Start low and increase if needed.

Does the device have auto shut-off?

Yes, the device will automatically shut off after 60 minutes of inactivity for safety. It can be turned back on by pressing the power button.

How do I clean the device?

Unplug and let it cool. Wipe the plates with a damp cloth and mild cleaner. For the water tank, empty any remaining water and rinse with distilled water occasionally. Do not submerge in water.

Can I use the styler while traveling?

The device is dual voltage (110-240V) so it can be used worldwide with a plug adapter. Empty the water tank before travel to avoid leaks.

What should I do if steam output decreases?

This may indicate limescale buildup. Descale the water tank using a mixture of equal parts distilled water and white vinegar overnight, then rinse thoroughly. Also check if the water tank is properly filled.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. Please keep the sales receipt for guarantee purposes (pls see below “Guarantee and Customer Service”) Any us which does not conform to the instructions will absolve IZZY from an liability.

• Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of the appliance.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when in operation.
• Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children. Ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Never let the core hand down where a child could grab it.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, children or those with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructic concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Switch off and unplug:
• After each use.

• Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning and storing.

• Keep the heated parts away from the head, face, neck and hands.
• Never let the power unit, cord or plug get wet. If the appliance does get wet, immediately remove the power cord from the wall outlet and do not put your hands in the water. Never run the wet appliance and contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.
• Never leave the power cable wrapped during use. Unwind it completely.
• Never wrap the cord around the appliance.
• Never carry or suspend the appliance by the cord.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
• Do not use an extension power cord.
• Check the power cord periodically for possible damages. If the power cord or the plug of the appliance has been damaged, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Center.
• In case of a possible damage, do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Please contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.
• Any repair made by a non-unauthorized BENRUBI Service Center CANCELS THE GUARANTEE.
• Any misuse of the device cancels the warranty.

Using the Appliance

• Ensure your hair is dry, clean and without any trace of hairspray, hair mousse or gel.

• Comb your hair ensuring there are no knots.

• Press the water tank release button (4) and remove the water tank (3).

• Open the lid of the water tank at the bottom.

• Place the water tank (3) under the tap and fill it with water. Do not immerse the water tank in water.

Note: Alternatively, you can use distilled water. Do not use water of any chemical composition, water from refrigerators, clothes dryers, batteries, air conditioners, perfumed water, water with softener, and rainwater.

1. Close the lid of the water tank and wipe with a cloth any water on the outside of the container.

2. Place the water tank (3) by placing the front part first and then snap the back part.

3. Plug in. The display will show "OFF".
4. Press the power button (7).
5. Press the temperature selection button (9) to the desired temperature (100-230°C). The temperature of your choice will flash on the display. Wait 2-3 minutes for the device to warm up and reach the desired temperature. The selected temperature will remain on and will not flash.
6. When the device reaches the desired temperature, press the steam button (8). The display will briefly show "ON" and then the selected temperature. If you want to use the device without steam, do not press the steam button (8).

Note: To deactivate the steam function, press the steam button (8). The display will briefly show "OFF" and then the selected temperature.

1. Use only on dry hair. Divide your hair into equal sections and comb.
2. Place a section between the plates (1). Gently pull the straightener towards the edge of the hair keeping it away from the skin of the head.
3. To avoid burning the hair, hold the straightener for up to 10 seconds on each section.
4. After use, press the power button (7). The display will show "OFF".
5. Unplug.
6. Allow to cool before removing the hair and dust from the body of the appliance and the plates.
7. Allow to cool before removing the water tank. The water tank must be emptied after each use and before storage.

Notes:

• Steam operation works at temperatures above 160°C .
• When using the steam function, do not touch the water tank.
• Make sure there is water in the water tank before using it with steam.
• Do not remove the water tank when the appliance is in operation and has not cooled dc completely.
• Allow the appliance to cool down if you want to refill the water tank.
• The device has auto shut-off after 60 minutes.

Care and Cleaning

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow to cool down completely.
• Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Do not use detergents, abrasives or chemicals to clean the appliance.
• Do not wrap the cord around the appliance when storing.
• When storing the device, close the plates and press the plate lock (5).
