Frequently Asked Questions - EOK8P2B0 ELECTROLUX

How do I install the Electrolux EOK8P2B0 oven?
Ensure the oven is installed by a qualified electrician. The appliance must be connected to a 220-240V power supply with a suitable circuit breaker. Follow the installation guide in the manual for proper electrical and cabinet dimensions.
What should I do before using the oven for the first time?
Remove all packaging and accessories. Heat the empty oven at 200°C for 30 minutes to burn off any residues. Then let it cool, and clean the interior with a damp cloth. This initial burn-in eliminates manufacturing odors.
How do I clean the oven?
Use the hydrolytic cleaning function: pour water into the cavity and run the cycle. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or steel wool to prevent damage to the enamel.
What if the oven does not heat up?
Check that the oven is properly plugged in and the circuit breaker is on. Verify the timer is set correctly not on a delayed start. If the problem persists, the heating element or thermostat may be faulty; contact Electrolux service.
How do I use the timer functions?
Press the timer button to set cooking duration or end time. Use the +/- buttons to adjust. The oven will automatically turn off when the timer expires. Refer to the manual for delay start programming.
Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?
Yes, but avoid covering the entire rack or bottom cavity as it may cause overheating. Place foil only on the baking tray to catch drips. Do not let foil touch the heating elements.
How do I replace the oven light bulb?
Disconnect the power supply. Remove the glass cover by twisting it counterclockwise. Replace with a new 25W, 300°C resistant bulb (type G9). Reattach the glass and restore power.
What are the safety precautions for this oven?
Keep children away during operation. Use oven mitts to handle hot dishes. Do not use the oven as a storage space. Ensure the child lock is activated to prevent accidental use.
How do I activate the child lock?
Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds until a key symbol appears on the display. To deactivate, repeat the same process. The child lock disables all functions to prevent accidental operation.
Where can I find spare parts for the EOK8P2B0?
Authorized Electrolux service centers carry genuine spare parts. Provide the model number (EOK8P2B0) when ordering. Many parts, such as heating elements and door gaskets, are available for up to 10 years.

How to remove and replace the halogen bulb in the oven?
Frequently Asked Questions - 10 j
Response Notice-Facile

Before removing the halogen bulb:

  • Turn off the oven and wait for it to cool completely
  • Unplug the appliance from the electrical supply (or turn off the circuit breaker)

Removing the bulb:

  • Locate the window or protective sleeve inside the oven
  • Use a dry cloth or a pair of gloves to avoid touching the bulb directly with your fingers
  • Turn the halogen bulb slightly counterclockwise to loosen it
  • If it does not detach easily, turn it slowly back and forth without forcing it to gradually loosen it
  • Once loosened, carefully remove it

Installing the new bulb:

  • Install a replacement halogen bulb (same wattage and type as the old one)
  • Insert the bulb into the socket and turn it slightly clockwise until it is securely fixed
  • Never use your bare fingers to handle the new bulb: grease residues can reduce its lifespan

Tip: If the bulb remains stuck, do not force it. Try using a cloth that provides better grip, or consult the manual to precisely locate the bulb and its socket on your model EOK8P2B0.
