How do I adjust the brightness?

Press the dimmer button on the lamp base to cycle through 3 brightness levels: low, medium, and high. Hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the lamp off.

Can I use this lamp while charging via USB?

Yes, the USB port is for charging external devices only. The lamp functions normally when connected to mains power. Do not use the USB port as a power source for the lamp.

The light flickers. What should I do?

First, ensure the lamp is plugged securely into a working outlet. If flickering persists, try a different outlet. If the issue continues, the LED driver may be faulty; contact Cotech support for replacement.

How to clean the lamp?

Unplug the lamp and let it cool. Wipe the surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Clean the LED lens gently to avoid scratches.

Can I replace the LED bulb?

The LED module is integrated and not user-replaceable. If the light fails, the entire lamp may need replacement. However, check the warranty for possible repair or exchange.

Why does the lamp turn off automatically after an hour?

The lamp has a built-in timer function that activates after 1 hour of continuous use to save energy. To disable this feature, press and hold the dimmer button for 5 seconds until the lamp blinks twice.

Is the lamp suitable for reading?

Yes, with adjustable color temperature (3000K-6500K) and 3 brightness levels, it provides comfortable light for reading. Position the lamp at least 30 cm from your book to reduce glare.

What does the warranty cover?

The 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal household use. It does not cover damage from misuse, modifications, or external factors like power surges. Keep your purchase receipt.

How do I install the lamp on my desk?

The lamp comes with both a clamp and a weighted base. For clamp installation, attach the clamp to the desk edge (max thickness 5 cm) and tighten the screw. For base installation, simply place the base on the desk and insert the lamp arm.

The lamp does not turn on. What can I do?

Check that the power cord is firmly connected to both the lamp and the outlet. Test the outlet with another device. If still no power, inspect the cord for damage. If all else fails, contact customer support.

• This product is very bright. Never look directly into the light, doing so could cause eye damage.
• Never let children play with the product.
• The product must only be connected to a power supply of 230 V with a protective earth.
• The product must not be used in rooms where explosive gases or liquids are used or stored.
• Treat the product with care and do not subject it to shocks or impacts.
• Never immerse the product in water or other liquid.
• The product must not be covered.
• Never try to open the housing, repair or modify the product in any way.
• Never use the product if your hands are moist or wet.
• Never use the product if it, its mains lead or plug is damaged in any way.

Installation

This floodlight is intended for permanent outdoor installation and should only be installed by a registered electrical installer.

△ If the floodlight is installed on a wall with some kind of board-on-board or batten-on-board siding, it is important that the wall bracket be fastened to the outermost board or onto a flat panel on top of two battens. If the wall bracket is mounted between two battens or boards, as in the first picture, the ability of the floodlight to swivel may be reduced or even prevented entirely.

△ Use fasteners suitable for the wall material and ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes in the wall where you intend to drill or screw.

Adjust the angle of the light if necessary, taking care not to damage the floodlight. The floodlight will click as it is adjusted. This is completely normal.

• Press one time (the indicator will blink once): The floodlight comes on with movement function when motion is detected in the dark.
• Press two times (the indicator will blink twice): The floodlight comes on with movement function when motion is detected both in the dark and in daylight.
• Press three times (the indicator will blink three times): The floodlight comes on without movement function when motion is detected in the dark.
• Press four times (the indicator will blink four times): The floodlight comes on without movement function when motion is detected both in the dark and in daylight.

Indicator

The PIR sensor has 3 detection zones, one straight forward and one on each side. When the movement function is activated and a subject moves past the floodlight, the light will come on and follow the subject.

Care and maintenance

Clean the product using a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
