Frequently Asked Questions - SWV6813 PHILIPS

How to connect the HDMI switch?
Connect your HDMI sources (console, set-top box, etc.) to INPUT1 through INPUT3 using HDMI cables. Connect the switch's output to your TV or HDMI display. Finally, plug in the provided AC adapter (5V DC) to the switch. The green light turns on.
How to switch between sources?
By default, the switch is in AUTO mode. It automatically selects the active input. If multiple sources are active, priority is INPUT1 > INPUT2 > INPUT3. For manual control, press the MODE button to switch to MANUAL mode, then press the corresponding input button.
What resolutions are supported?
The switch supports standard resolutions up to 1080p, including 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i. It is not compatible with 4K.
Why is there no signal on my screen?
Check that all HDMI cables are properly connected and that the source (e.g., console) is turned on. Ensure the green light on the switch is on. Try switching sources in manual mode. If the problem persists, test another HDMI cable.
Can I use a non-supplied power adapter?
No, use only the provided adapter model Ktec KSAFB05000050WIUS. Using another adapter may damage the switch.
Does the switch heat up?
The switch may warm up slightly during normal operation, but it remains within safe limits. Ensure it is installed in a well-ventilated area away from excessive heat.
How to clean the switch?
Unplug the power adapter. Clean the casing with a soft, damp cloth (no chemicals). Avoid letting moisture enter the device.
Is the switch HDCP compatible?
Yes, it is HDCP compatible, allowing you to play protected content (Blu-ray, some streaming services).
What is the maximum HDMI cable length?
The switch can extend the HDMI signal, allowing longer cables than usual. However, for optimal quality up to 1080p, we recommend not exceeding 10-15 meters between the source and display.
What to do in case of failure or malfunction?
First check connections and power. If the problem persists, contact Philips support at 919-573-7863 (United States) for warranty assistance. Keep your proof of purchase.
