Frequently Asked Questions - Dis HU-3W WILFA

How do I clean the air filter?
Turn off and unplug the unit. Open the filter cover, remove the filter, and vacuum or wash with mild detergent. Dry completely before reinstalling. Clean every two weeks for optimal performance.
The remote control is not working. What should I do?
Check if batteries are inserted correctly and replace if needed. Ensure there is no obstruction between the remote and the unit. Point remote directly at the receiver. If still not working, try resetting by removing batteries for 30 seconds.
How do I set the timer?
Press the Timer button. Use + or - to set desired hours (1-24). The indicator will show the set time. To cancel, press Timer again. Timer can be used for auto-on or auto-off.
What does the error code E1 mean?
E1 indicates a room temperature sensor malfunction. Please contact customer support. Avoid using the unit until resolved.
How do I drain the condensate when self-evaporation fails?
If water accumulates, locate the drain plug at the back. Place a shallow pan underneath, remove plug, and let water drain. Replace plug securely. Ensure unit is off and unplugged.
Can I use an extension cord?
No, do not use an extension cord. The unit requires a dedicated grounded outlet. Extension cords may cause voltage drop and overheating.
The air conditioner blows warm air. Why?
Check if the unit is set to Cool mode. Ensure the exhaust hose is properly connected and not kinked. Clean the filter. If problem persists, refrigerant may be low; contact a technician.
How do I install the window kit?
Open the window, place the window kit panel in the gap, extend to fit width, and lock. Attach the exhaust hose to the unit and to the window kit. Ensure a tight seal to prevent hot air entry.
What is the recommended room size for this unit?
The Dis HU-3W is suitable for rooms up to 25 m² (approx. 70 BTU/h per m²). For best efficiency, close windows and doors.
How often should I service the air conditioner?
Clean the filter every two weeks. For deeper maintenance, such as coil cleaning, schedule a professional service once a year. Ensure the unit is kept in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
