- Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.

The appliance must not be immersed into water or other liquids. Should it get wet, it must be wiped off immediately, as liquids contain minerals which may result in rust in the electronic parts or which may totally destroy the electronic parts.

If the appliance gets dirty, the dirt can be wiped off with a slightly humid cloth, and then wiped with a dry cloth.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use
of the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety and they understand the hazards involved.

Insert/change batteries
- Turn the battery cover anti clockwise until the lines on the cover and unit point to each other. Pull out the battery cover.
- Place 1 AA 1,5 V battery according to the directions in the battery compartment.
- Put the cover back and turn until the line on the battery cover points towards the dot on the unit.
- Change batteries when the appliance works slowly to avoid bad result.
Using the cutting head
- Pull the protection cap upwards and remove it. Screw on the cutting head to the main units driving shaft until it
clicks, if you haven't done that already. Be careful not to accidentally start the appliance while screwing on/off the cutting head.
- Start the appliance with the switch and carefully move the cutting head slowly in circular motions to remove unwanted hair.
- Turn the appliance off after use and crew off the cutting head.
Trimming nasal hair
Make sure that the nostrils are clean. Slowly move the cutting head in and out to remove unwanted hair. Note! Do not stick it too long into the nostril, max 0,5 cm. You will get best result if you place the cutting head closely to the skin and this will also prevent a tickling feeling that may occur.
Trimming ear hair
Clean the outer part of the ear and make sure it is free from earwax. Pull the ear slightly back against the head with one hand and hold the trimmer with the other. Start the trimmer and move the cutting head around the outer part of the ear to remove visible hair. Move the cutting head carefully into the ear (max 0,5 cm) to avoid damaging the inner ear.
Using the trimming head
- Pull the protection cap upwards and remove it. Screw off the cutting head if you haven't done that already and screw the trimming head on to the main units driving shaft. Be careful not to accidentally start the appliance while screwing on/off the trimming head.
- Start the appliance with the switch and move the trimming head somewhat angled to the skin from top to bottom without applying pressure.
- Shut off the appliance after use and remove the trimming head.
Cleaning and maintenance - after each
use
- Shut off the appliance.
- Use the enclosed brush to remove hair and/or rinse the cutting head or trimming head under running warm water.
- Dry with a towel.
Cleaning the cutting system
- Clean the cutting system after every third time of use.
- Shut off the appliance.
- Turn the cutting head/trimming head anti clockwise and take it off, see picture.
- Rinse the driving shaft and the cutting head/trimming head quickly.
- Dry all parts carefully and put the cutting head back on the main unit. Dry the appliance with a towel and put the protection cap back.

Environmental considerations and disposal of batteries

disposing of batteries it is essential to take the environment into consideration. Used batteries must never be disposed of with domestic garbage. Used batteries must be returned to one of the authorized collection points. Batteries must be removed from the appliance before it is disposed of. Also take care that the batteries are not expired or become worn-out since there may then be a risk that the batteries will leak acid. Check the validity date printed on the batteries.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.

At OBH Nordicas choice, a replacement product may be provided instead of repairing a defective product. OBH Nordicas sole obligation and your exclusive resolution under this guarantee are limited to such repair or replacement.
Conditions & Exclusions
OBH Nordica shall not be obliged to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. The defective product may be returned to the store of purchase.
This guarantee applies only for products purchased and used for domestic purposes and will not cover any damage which occurs as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow OBH Nordica instructions, or a modification or unauthorised repair of the product, faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any carrier. It also does not cover normal
wear and tear, maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, or the following:
- using the wrong type of water or consumable
- mechanical damages, overloading
- damages or poor results specifically due to wrong voltage or frequency as stamped on the product ID or specification
- ingress of water, dust or insects into the product
- scaling (any de-scaling must be carried out according to the instructions for use)
- damage as a result of lightning or power surges
- damage to any glass or porcelain ware in the product
- accidents including fire, flood, etc
- professional or commercial use
Consumer Statutory Rights
OBH Nordica's commercial guarantee does not affect the Statutory Rights a consumer may have or those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor rights against the retailer from which the consumer purchased the product. This guarantee gives a consumer specific legal rights, and the consumer may also have other legal rights which vary from Country to Country. The consumer may assert any such rights at his sole discretion.
