Use
Plug to a wall outlet and switch on the appliance by pressing the on/off button on the handle and the signal lamps start flashing. From the factory, the curler is set at 120° C; however, the temperature can easily be raised by means of the + button on the handle. If you want to lower the temperature, press the - button. The signal lamps flash to show the selected temperature. Put the curler on an even, heat-resistant surface during heating. The lamps will flash until the set temperature has been reached, after which they will change to a constant light. The curler is now ready for use.
The curler has five temperature settings; set the suitable temperature depending on the type of hair:
120°C low temperature - thin, fine hair/coloured hair
140°C medium temperature - normal hair
160°C medium/high temperature - thick, difficult hair
180-200°C high temperature - very thick and dense hair
Wear a heat protective glove (delivered) on the hand in which you do not hold the curler before you start curling the hair. Make sure that the hair is completely dry before you start styling. Take a section of hair and hold the curler close to the scalp and wind the hair around the entire heating element and keep it for about 5-8 seconds, depending on the type of hair and the wanted result. Repeat this procedure with the next section of hair etc. Due to the conical shape of the heating element you can easily change the size of the curls and the volume by winding sections of hair of different sizes. To have small and more defined curls we recommend that you use the slim part of the curler.
With the Conical curler you can try your way and find exactly the style that suits you. You can of course vary and combine the styling as to the result you want. To maintain a long-lasting result, do not comb or brush the hair before it has cooled.

An example on how to wind the section of hair around the heating element.
Make sure that the hot parts of the curler do not touch the scalp, your face, neck or hands.
Do not use the curler for wigs, hair extensions or artificial hair without having tested the appliance on a small section of hair, as there may be a risk that the hair will melt.
Always switch off the appliance after use by pressing the on/off button until the signal lamps go out and unplug.
Auto-off function
The curler is automatically switched off after about 60 minutes. Note that the curler will not be switched off completely until it has been unplugged. In order to reactivate the curler press the ON/OFF button and set the wanted temperature. The auto-off function is a supplementary safety function, but as a general rule, always unplug the appliance after use.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Always switch off the appliance by pressing the on/off button until the signal lamps go out and unplug.
