Frequently Asked Questions - X-bee drone 1.0 Overmax

How do I charge the drone battery?
Use only the included charger. Connect the battery to the charger, and plug the charger into a USB port (5V). The LED indicator turns red during charging and turns off when charging is complete. Charging time is approximately 30 minutes. Always charge under adult supervision.
What batteries does the controller use?
The controller requires 4 AAA batteries (non-rechargeable). Install them with correct polarity (+ -) and do not mix battery types. Remove batteries if not using for a long time.
How do I synchronize the transmitter and drone?
Place the drone on a flat surface. Move the left stick to the lower right corner and the right stick to the lower left corner. Hold for 10 seconds. The drone's LEDs will blink then glow steadily, indicating successful synchronization.
What is headless mode and how do I activate it?
Headless mode makes the drone's forward direction relative to the pilot, not the drone's orientation. To activate, place the drone on a flat surface, move the left stick to lower left and right stick to lower right. LEDs blink to confirm. Repeat the same action to deactivate.
How do I perform 360-degree flips?
Press the Flip mode button to enter stunt mode (a beep sounds). Then move the direction stick forward, backward, left, or right to flip the drone. Ensure enough space before performing stunts.
How do I change the flight speed?
Press the flight speed button to cycle through three modes: slow (one beep), normal (two beeps), and fast (three beeps). Use slow mode for beginners.
How do I replace the propellers?
Pull the propeller upward to remove it. Attach the new propeller according to the labeling: propeller A (clockwise) and propeller B (counterclockwise). Ensure they match the correct motors.
What safety precautions should I take?
Do not operate near power lines or water. Keep a safe distance from people and animals. Always supervise children under 18. Do not charge batteries overnight or use damaged batteries. Dispose of batteries properly.
Can I fly the drone in rain?
No. The drone and controller are not waterproof. Avoid rain, moisture, and water exposure to prevent damage or malfunction.
What is the maximum flight time?
The drone can fly up to 6 minutes per full charge. Actual flight time may vary based on flying conditions and battery health.
