Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose.
  • This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
• Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
• If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician.
• Pay careful attention to the following "Special Safety Instructions for this unit".

• Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in the water or use chemical / abrasive agents.
  • Always use the scael on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet
• DO NOT use the scale on wet and slippery floor. DO NOT step on the edge of the scale. The scale platform is slippery when wet. Keep it dry!.
• Always weigh yourself with the same scales places on the same surface. Uneven floors may affect the reading.
• Weigh yourself without clothing and footwear, before meals and always at the same time of day.
• Pacemaker users / wearers, or other medical implants with electronic components, are not recommended to use this scale.
• The body fat & hydration% are for reference only. Please always consult your doctor for advice of medication or diet in order to achieve ideal body fat level.
• To make sure accuracy of testing, please DO NOT use the scale in environment with strong electro-magnetic field.
• DO NOT use the scale on wet and slippery floor. DO NOT step on the edge of the scale. The scale platform is slippery when wet. Keep it dry!
  • DO NOT use this scale on a place with intense shake. Keep stand still on scale when testing.
• Do not drop the device, or jump on the device when using. Avoid strong impact and sudden shake as it is a precision measuring device. The construction is delicate and sensitive to all unwanted external impact.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical. Sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE USE

• Remove the insulation tab from the battery contacts before use.
• Select the weighing mode using the switch (Kg/st/lb) located on the back of the scales.
• Place the scales on a form, flat and even surface to ensure accuracy.

WEIGHT MEASURING

You can use this scale only for weight measuring. This is basic mode without body fat measuring.

1) Tap on the scales platform to switch on the product then step onto the platform when the LCD display reads 0.0. Stand still while the scales computer your weight.
2) When you step off the scales it will automatically switch off after 6 seconds.
3) If no weighing is carried out while 0.0 is displayed the scales will automatically switch off after 6 seconds.

BODY FAT MEASURMENT

1. About Body Fat Percentage

Body fat percentage indicates body fat proportion in body, which is a criteria to judge one is overweight or not.

2. Testing Principle

Impedance of fat is higher than any other body tissues such as muscle, when electrical signal of a certain frequency goes through body (BIA principle). Based on this principle, body fat percentage can be tested by sending an electrical signal through body.

The technology used in these scales, Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) is more technologically advanced than the order Body Mass Index (BMI) method where fat % is calculated using only height and weight .BIA technology uses 5 parameters to get a more accurate resolution for the analysis (weight and biological resistance which are automatically measured by the scales together with the three personal parameters entered manually - sex, height and age).

Important:

During body fat testing, please remove shoes and socks, etc., and clear your feet, in order to get the most accurate result.

To ensure accuracy, please test at the same time of the day

Test result may be inaccurate when the users are:

• after r intense sport activity, overfeeding, or excessive dehydration.
• children under 10, or adults over 80;
• body building atheletes, or other occupational atheletes;
• pregnant women; Dialysis or edema patient.

In order to ensure accurate results users should enter the required personal parameters; age, sex and height.

These scale have the facility to store the personal parameters of 10 people.

SETTING AND SAVING PARAMETERS

Press to turn ON.

Press ▲ to switch between Body Parameter P0 - P9. Press to confirm.

Press ▲ to select male or female. Press to confirm.

Press ▲ to ▼ indicate age. Press to confirm.

Press ▲ to ▼ indicate height. Press to confirm.

The values are flashed and recorded.

MEASURING

1) Tap on the scales platform to switch on the product
2) Press H1 will flash. Press o ▲ to switch between Body Parameter P0 - P9.
3) Step onto the platform when the LCD display reads 0.0. Important: For correct measurements and scale functions step on the scale barefoot.
4) First the weight is recorded, then „o o o o “ is displayed, indicating that the scales are analyzing. Please do not alight.
5) Once finished, the weight, body fat, body muscle and bone weight will be displayed alternately for 2 times before the scales automatically turn off.
6) After this the scale is going turn off.
7) If no weighing is carried out while 0.0 is displayed the scales will automatically switch off after 6 seconds.

ERROR AND OTHER LCD MESSAGE

LCD may show occasionally error message' Err .. Simply turn off the unit for a brief moment, or remove and re-install battery as a total re-set. Then turn on again to resume operation.

1. When the LCD screen displays „LO“, you should install anew battery.
2. When the LCD screen displays „Err“ of „OL“, it indicates that the maximum weight is exceeded.
3. When the LCD screen displays „Err 2%“, it shows an error in the body fat percentage.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1) Use a dry, soft fabric to clean the device. Or a lightly damp soft fabric with mild detergent to wipe clean the device. Do not use strong chemical solution such as alcohol, benzene for cleaning.
2) It could be slippery when the unit platform surface is wet, or semi-damp. Ensure the weighing platform surface is dry before using for safety reason.

Troubleshooting

The device is not working

• Check the rights position of battery and the polarity.
• When warning indicator shows „Lo“ replace the battery.

GUARANTEE

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt). During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.

The guarantee lapses:

• in case of unauthorized tampering
• destroyed unit by natural disaster
• any changes in guarantee list by unauthorized person
• empty guarantee list or damage this list
• using this machine for other purpose that usual, especially for professional or other commercial use
• with apparent mechanic defects

The guarantee does not apply on goods damaged due to unusual usage.

The damage of accessories is not an automatic reason for replacing the entire device free of charge.

The manufacturer reserves the right to make minute changes to the standard model that will have no effect on functionality of the product.
