What do error codes on the display mean?

PART 1: SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Important safety instructions

KEEP THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE USE.

ATTENTION: To prevent injury by electrical shock, fire hazards or irradiation of persons by health damaging microwave energy radiation, please adhere to the precautions provided below. When using the oven, it is necessary, as with other electrical appliances, to adhere to certain rules ensuring the safe and proper operation of the oven.

Under no circumstances should you turn on the oven with the door open - using the oven with an open door may result in irradiation by health-damaging microwave energy radiation. Do not disable or tamper with the safety locks on the oven door.

Take care not to allow foreign objects to enter into the area between the front surfaces of the oven and the oven door. Take care not to soil this area with remains of cleaning agents or food remains.

ATTENTION: If the door or the door gasket seal is damaged then the oven must not be used until repaired by a qualified person. When inspecting the oven, pay special attention to: (1) the door (whether it is damaged or bent), (2) door hinges and locks (check for damage or looseness) and (3) door gasket seals and the oven's sealing surfaces.

ATTENTION: It is dangerous for anybody other than a qualified person to carry out any repairs or maintenance whatsoever that leads to the removal of any cover providing protection from microwave energy radiation.

ATTENTION: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in closed containers because they could explode.

ATTENTION: This appliance may be used by children older than 8 years of age and by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are properly supervised or have been informed about how to use of the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers arising from its incorrect use. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years of age and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

1. Regularly clean the appliance.
2. Install or locate the appliance according to the instructions in this user's manual.
3. Do not use or install the appliance outdoors. Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of water, swimming pools, water tanks or any other similar water sources.
4. The appliance my heat up during operation and accessible parts may be hot to touch. Keep the power cord at a sufficient distance from hot surfaces. Under no circumstances should you cover the ventilation openings. Prevent children from touching the appliance while it is in operation.
5. Do not leave the power cord hanging over the edge of a table or a work bench.
6. Failure to keep the oven clean could lead to surface damage, which could adversely affect the lifetime of the appliance and could lead to a dangerous situation.
7. The appliance is not designed to be operated by means of a remote control, external timer or another device that puts the appliance into operation.

1. The microwave oven is designed for heating food and beverages. Dehydrating food or drying clothes and heating up heating cushions, home footwear, washing sponges, damp textiles and similar items may lead to an injury hazard, ignition or fire or sterilisation. This microwave oven is designed for household use. This microwave oven is designed to be used as built-in.
2. Do not turn on the oven without having food inside – this may damage it.
3. Do not use the oven to store any types of items such as, for example, newspapers, recipes, kitchen utensils, etc.
4. Do not use the oven without the rotating plate being properly inserted. Check again that the plate is correctly seated in the turning base before using the oven.
5. Before heating (cooking) food packed in closed containers, it is necessary to remove the lid, plug or cover from the container. Before heating (cooking) food, remove meat skewers, metal handles, etc. from the food.
6. Take care not to allow foreign items to enter the space between the door and the sealing surfaces on the front side of the oven - risk that health-damaging microwave energy may escape from the oven.
7. Do not use cookware (bowls, plates) made from recycled paper for cooking food in the oven. Recycled paper may contain fine metal particles, which may cause sparking inside the oven or may lead to the contents inside the oven catching on fire.
8. Do not use the oven for making popcorn with the exception of corn specially packed for popping in a microwave oven. When popping corn in a microwave oven a lower yield is achieved than during the standard popping method (higher amount of unpopped kernels). Do not use oil when making popcorn (unless its use is recommended by its manufacturer).
9. Do not prepare food in the oven that has a surface with a peel, film or shell (potatoes, smoked goods, poultry livers, etc.) without first penetrating it multiple times (e.g. with a fork) - it could explode inside the oven.
10. When making popcorn in the oven, do not exceed the times recommended by the manufacturer of the popcorn (generally less than 3 minutes). Heating it for a long time does not increase the yield, however the corn is then excessively dried out, thus creating a fire hazard. Heating popcorn for too long in the oven risks excessively raising the temperature of the rotating plate and cracking it.
11. If smoke is created, turn off the appliance or pull the plug out of the socket and leave the door closed to prevent any fire from spreading.
12. When heating a meal in plastic or paper cookware, regularly check the oven to prevent it from catching on fire.
13. The contents of baby bottles and baby food must be stirred or shaken and the temperature must be checked before it is consumed to prevent causing burns.
14. Before giving food prepared in the oven to children or seniors, the temperature must be unconditionally checked again. The importance of this instruction is based on the fact that the increase in temperature of food heated by microwaves is not halted by turning of the oven. A cold container may contain hot contents.
15. Eggs in their shells and whole hard boiled eggs must not be heated in the microwave oven because they could explode even after the microwave heating process has fi nished.
16. Keep the inside of the oven clean at all times (especially the waveguide). Clean out the interior of the oven with a damp wiping cloth after every use. Leaving fat remains or juices inside the oven may result in smoke or they may catch on fire.

17. Do not use the oven for deep frying - unlike deep fryers the oven is not equipped with a thermostat - risk of the used shortening (oil) overheating and catching on fire.

18. Heating beverages in the microwave may result in a delayed boil (heating a liquid to a temperature that is higher than its boiling point without the usual external indications of a boil, e.g. bubbling), which one needs to keep in mind when holding the container. Whenever moving a container containing an overheated liquid there is a danger of it overflowing - risk of injury. AN OVERFLOW MAY OCCUR EVEN WHEN YOU PLACE A SPOON OR ANOTHER KITCHEN UTENSIL INTO A CONTAINER WITH A VERY HOT LIQUID. To prevent injury:

a) do not overheat liquids.
b) always stir liquids half way through the heating process and at the end of the heating process.
c) do not use containers with straight walls and a narrow bottle neck,
d) after heating is finished, leave the container in the microwave oven for a few moments before taking it out.
e) pay increased attention when placing a spoon or another utensil into the container.

1. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
2. Use only cookware suitable for use in microwave ovens.
3. Heating liquids in a microwave may result in a delayed boil, which one needs to keep in mind when holding the container.
4. Do not use steam cleaners to clean the appliance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE

Radio wave interference

The use of the oven may cause interference to a radio, television or similar receivers. If interference occurs, it may be limited by the following measures:

1. keeping the door and the surface of the oven seals clean;
2. redirecting the radio or television signal reception antenna;
3. moving the microwave oven further away from the receiver;
4. connecting the microwave oven to a different power socket so that the microwave oven and the receiver do not share the same circuit.

Grounding instructions

This microwave oven must be grounded. The microwave oven is equipped with a power cord, which has a ground wire with a grounding power plug. The power plug must be connected to a mains socket outlet that is correctly installed and grounded. This reduces the risk of injury by electric shock if a short circuit occurs – in such an event the electric current goes through the grounding wire. We recommend that the microwave oven be connected to an independent electrical circuit. The use of high voltage is dangerous and may lead to a fire or another accident that can damage the microwave oven.

WARNING!

An incorrectly grounded power socket may present a danger of electric shock.

NOTE:

1. If you are uncertain about the grounding of your mains power socket, contact an authorised service centre or a qualified electrician.
2. Neither the manufacturer nor the vendor is responsible for damages to property and health if the microwave oven is connected incorrectly and not in accordance with the presented recommendations.

PART 3: INSTALLATION

1. Make sure that you have removed all packaging materials and advertising labels from inside the appliance.
2. WARNING: Check that the microwave oven is not damaged and that the door and the locks fit well, that the gasket seal is not damaged, that the hinges and locks are not destroyed or loosened and that the inside area is in order. If you discover any damage, please contact an authorised service centre.
3. This microwave oven must be placed on an even, stable surface, that can bear its weight even with food inserted.
4. Do not install the oven in the vicinity of heat sources, moisture or high humidity, or near flammable materials.
5. For proper operation of the microwave oven it is necessary to provide sufficient air ventilation. Allow free space of 20 cm above the top surface of the oven, 10 cm from behind and 5 cm on the sides. Do not cover or block the openings in the appliance. Do not remove the feet of the microwave oven.
6. Do not use the microwave oven without the glass turning plate, drive assembly and the rotating ring installed.
7. Make sure that the power cord is not damaged and is not led under the oven or over a hot or sharp surface.
8. The power socket must be freely accessible so that you can disconnect the microwave oven at any time if necessary.
9. Do not use the microwave oven outdoors.
10. This appliance may be built-in.

Installation procedure

Connect the appliance only to a properly grounded power socket.

If the power socket is not suitable for connecting the plug on the power cord, then it must be replaced with a suitable power socket by a qualified service technician according to valid local legal codes.

The cabinet into which the appliance is to be installed should not have the rear wall attached in order to ensure maximum possible air circulation and ventilation.

The minimum installation height is 85 cm

Do not cover the ventilation outlets and inlets.

Do not bend the power cord, do not expose it to excessive pressure and do not damage it in any way.

Check that the installation location is large enough for the installation of the oven.

Place the template in to the installation location and attach the stopper using 2 screws. The location of the stopper is marked out on the template.

Insert the microwave into the installation location. Check that the distance on the right and left side is the same and that the stopper is in the back part.

After placement, open the oven door and in the front part of the interior of the oven there is a hole for the fastening screw. Insert the screw into this hole and screw it in. Check that it is properly tightened. Place the cover over the screw (if included in the accessories).

NOTE:

In the back part of the cabinet and along its sides, it is necessary to provide for at least a 10 cm distance from the wall or floor.

PART 4: THE BASICS OF COOKING IN A MICROWAVE OVEN

1. Carefully organise the food. Place the largest food pieces towards the centre of the plate.
2. Set the correct cooking time. Use short time periods for cooking, if necessary extend them. When cooking food at high temperatures smoke may be created or a fire may start.
3. Cover food when heating or cooking it. Covering the food will prevent juices from squirting and will help to achieve even heating/cooking.
4. To speed up the heating/cooking of food, such as chickens or hamburgers, turn them over once during the heating/cooking process. Large pieces of food such as roasts must be turned over at least once.
5. Meals with sauces need to be stirred in the centre so that the sauce is heated evenly.

Guide to kitchen cookware

1. The ideal type of cookware for cooking in the microwave oven is a transparent container, which permits the penetration of microwaves inside for the heating of food.
2. Microwaves do not travel through metal and so metal dishes or bowls with metal rims are not suitable for use in a microwave oven.
3. Do not use recycled paper products that may contain small metal particles for cooking in the microwave.
4. Round/oval containers are better than square/rectangular containers as food in the corners may overcook.
5. You should use containers suitable for microwave ovens only in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.

PART 6: OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MICROWAVE OVEN

General use

1. Connect the power plug to a power socket with a rating of 230 V \~ 50 Hz.
2. Place the food into a container suitable for use in a microwave oven, open the door. Check that the guide and the rotating plate are correctly installed. Place the container on to the glass plate.
3. Close the door. Check that it is closed properly.
4. You can open the microwave oven door at any time and this will pause the operation of the oven. To continue, close the door and press the START button.
5. If you do not set the power level, the microwave oven will heat at the maximum power level.
6. ":0" will appear on the display after it is connected to a power socket.
7. If you press the START button and the oven does not start, check the space between the door and the seal for any obstacles preventing it from closing. Check that the door is closed properly. The microwave oven will not start until the door is properly closed or the program will be reset.

NOTE: Check that the microwave oven is properly installed and connected to the power socket.

Setting the clock

After connecting the plug to the power socket, "0:00" will appear on the display and a sound will be made.

1. Press the Kitchen Timer / Clock button twice and select the clock setting function. The hours will start flashing.
2. Use the control dial to set the hours in the range from 0 to 23.
3. Press the Kitchen Timer / Clock button once and the minutes will start flashing.
4. Use the control dial to set the minutes in the range from 0 to 59.
5. Press the Kitchen Timer / Clock button once to confirm and save the setting to memory. The semi-colon will start flashing.

NOTE: If the clock is not set, the time will not appear on the display. If while setting the clock you press the Stop / Clear button, the oven will automatically return to the original state.

Cooking using a microwave

1. Press the Microwave button and "P100" will appear on the display.
2. Use the control dial to set the microwave cooking power: P100, P80, P50, P30 or P10.
3. After selecting the power level, press the Start+30Sec. / Confirm button to confirm.
4. Use the control dial to set the microwave cooking time from 0:05 to 95:00.
5. Press the Start+30Sec. / Confirm button to start cooking.

Grill and combination cooking

1. Press the Grill / Combi button and "G" will appear on the display.
2. Repeatedly press the Grill / Combi button or use the control dial to select from: G (grill), C-1 (combination cooking 1) or C-2 (combination cooking 2).
3. Press the Start+30Sec. / Confirm button to confirm the setting.
4. Use the control dial to set the cooking time in the range from 0:05 to 95:00.
5. Press the Start+30Sec. / Confirm button to confirm the setting and the oven will start.

NOTE: A sound will be made during the transition from microwave cooking to the grill. We recommend turning the food over or to stir it if appropriate, close the door and press the Start/+30Sec. / Confirm button to continue the cooking process. If you do not do this, the oven will automatically continue cooking.

Quick heat

This function makes it possible to turn on the microwave oven at maximum power for 30 seconds. Repeatedly press the Start+30Sec/Confirm button to set the quick heat time. The maximum time is 95 minutes.

Timer (without stopping cooking)

1. Press the Kitchen Timer / Clock button and 00:00 will appear on the display and the clock indicator will be lit.
2. Use the turn dial to set the time on the timer (maximum time is 95 minutes).
3. Press the Start+30Sec. / Confirm button to confirm the setting and the clock indicator will start flashing.
4. As soon as the preceding set time passes, the clock indicator will turn off. A sound will be made 5 times. If the clock was set (24-hour mode), the current time will appear on the display.

NOTE: The time set in the timer mode is shown in a different format than the set clock.

Ending the cooking process

The cooking process can be ended at any time by pressing the Stop / Clear button or by opening the door. To renew the cooking process, close the door and press the Start+30Sec./Confirm button. To end the cooking process press the Stop / Clear button.

Defrosting based on weight

1. Press the Weight / Time Defrost button once and "dEF1" will appear on the display.
2. Use the turn dial to set the weight of the food to be defrosted in the range from 100 - 2000 g.
3. Press the Start/+30Sec. / Confirm button to start the defrosting process.

Defrosting based on time

1. Press the Weight / Time Defrost button twice and "dEF2" will appear on the display.
2. Use the turn dial to set the food defrosting time (max. 95 min).
3. Press the Start+30Sec. / Confirm button to start the defrosting process.

Automatic cooking

For this function it is necessary to select a type of food and its weight, after which the power and heating time will be set automatically.

1. Use the turn dial to select an automatic cooking mode between A-1 and A-8 (see the table below for more information).
2. Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button.
3. Use the turn dial to set the weight according to the table below.
4. Press the Start+30Sec. / Confirm button to start automatic cooking.

Cooking in stages

This function makes it possible to prepare food in two different cooking modes.

It is necessary to set at least 2 stages. If you are going to defrost, it is necessary for the defrost function to always be first.

The following combinations are available:

• Microwave heating + Grill/combination cooking
• Grill/combination cooking + microwave heating
• Defrosting based on duration + Microwave heating
• Defrosting based on time + Microwave heating
• Defrosting based on time + Grill/combination cooking

Example: You need to defrost for 5 minutes and then cook at 80% microwave power for 7 minutes.

1. Press the Weight / Time Defrost button twice and "dEF2" will appear on the display.
2. Use the turn dial to set 5:00.
3. Press the Microwave button once and "P100" will appear on the display.
4. Repeatedly press the Microwave button or use the turn dial to set the power level to 80%.
5. Press the Start+30Sec./Confirm button and "P80" will appear on the display.
6. Use the control dial to set the cooking time to 7:00.
7. Press the Start+30Sec./Confirm button to start cooking. A sound will be made and the display will start to countdown the set defrosting time. After completing the first stage, a sound will again be made and microwave cooking will start. After the cooking process is finished the end signal sound will be made.

Showing information

1. During the microwave cooking process, grilling or combination cooking, press the Microwave button to show the current power level setting for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds the display will switch back to the initial setting.
2. During the cooking process, press the Kitchen Timer / Clock button to show the current time for 3 seconds.

Child safety lock

To activate the child safety lock function press and hold the Stop / Clear button for approx. 3 seconds. To cancel the child safety lock function press and hold the Stop / Clear button for approx. 3 seconds.

PART 7: MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

1. Turn off the microwave oven and disconnect it from the power socket before performing regular or exceptional maintenance.
2. Keep the inside area clean. If the walls of the microwave oven are splattered with food juices then wipe them away using a damp cloth. If the microwave oven is heavily soiled, you can use a weak solution of a neutral cleaning agent. Do not use cleaning agents in a spray or other coarse agents as they could scratch, damage or degrade the surface of the microwave oven.
3. Wipe the exterior surface with a damp cloth. To prevent damaging the operating parts of the oven, make sure that water does not enter the ventilation openings.
4. Regularly clean both sides of the door and window, door gasket seal and other parts using a damp cloth so as to remove drops or food remains. Do not use cleaning agents causing abrasion.
5. Do not expose the control panel to moisture. Clean it using a fine damp cloth. Leave the door open when cleaning the control panel so as not to accidentally start the oven.
6. If the inside of the oven or around the door fogs up with steam from food, wipe it off with a clean dry wiping cloth. This condition may arise if the oven is installed in a humid environment. This is a normal event.
7. Regularly clean the glass plate. You can clean the plate in warm water or in a dishwasher.
8. The rotating ring and the underside of the inside area of the oven should be regularly cleaned to prevent excessive noise. Simply clean out the underside of the interior of the oven using a weak neutral detergent solution. You may wash the rotating ring in a weak neutral cleaning agent solution or in a dishwasher. Do not forget to correctly return the rotating ring back into the microwave oven after taking it out.
9. To remove unpleasant odours from the oven, place a glass (check that it is suitable for use in a microwave oven) of water with juice and peelfromone lemon into the microwave oven and allow it to cook in the microwavemode for 5 minutes. Thoroughly wipe out the inside area of the oven until dry with a fine cloth.
10. If the interior light needs to be replaced, please contact an authorised service centre.
11. Regularly clean the oven and remove food remains. Otherwise, the surface of the oven may be damaged or its lifetime may be reduced or there may be a risk of a hazardous situation arising.

PART 8: BEFORE YOU CALL THE SERVICE CENTRE

If the oven is not working properly:

1. Check that the microwave oven is correctly connected to the power socket. If not, take the power plug out of the power socket, wait 10 seconds and then reinsert it.
2. Check whether a fuse has burned or a circuit breaker has been disconnected. If everything appears to be in order, try a different appliance in the same power socket.
3. Check that you have set the proper values on the control panel.
4. Check that the door is properly closed and that the door safety system is working properly. Otherwise microwaves will not be produced in the oven.

The following tables will help you in troubleshooting the most common defects.

Microwave oven and TV operation.	Radio and television reception may be interfered with while the microwave oven is running. Similarly, other small household appliances may cause interference, such as mixers, vacuum cleaners, fans, etc. This is normal. We recommend that you move the microwave oven further away from the TV or radio.
Dimmed lighting inside the microwave oven.	If a low microwave power level is set, it is normal for the lighting inside the microwave oven to be dimmed.
Steam has accumulated on the oven door, steam is coming out of the ventilation outlets.	Steam may be emitted from food that is being cooked. And most of this steam escapes through the ventilation outlets, nonetheless some of it may condense on the oven door. This is a normal event.
You have started the oven when it is empty.	Under no condition should you start the oven when it is empty. This could damage or destroy the oven.

Problem Cause Solution
It is not possible to turn the oven on.	The power cord is not firmly connected to the power socket.	Disconnect the power cord, wait approx.10 seconds and then reconnect it.
	The fuse is blown or the electrical circuit breaker is not working.	Have the fuse or circuit breaker replaced by a qualified worker from an authorised service centre.
	Problem with the power socket. Try using a different appliance in the power socket.
The oven is not heating. The door is not closed properly. Close the door.
The rotating glass plate is making an unpleasant sound.	The guide, the glass plate or the bottom of the microwave oven is soiled.	Clean out the interior of the oven – follow the instructions in the part "Maintenance and cleaning".
